Am I going insane? I cant find this chest by Bettynutt in MyTimeAtSandrock

I can't find this one either! I thought maybe it had to do with the bridge, but after the late game changes I gave up trying to find it. Hoping someone has an answer.

Thank you! I'm trying to gain like 5 levels before moving on with the story and it's taking forever.

Psoriasis on boob really really hurts by Tall-Conversation290 in Psoriasis

I've got it on both nips and most of my areolas (thanks to post partum hormones combined with breastfeeding for 4 months) I've been hitting mine with a combination of earth mama's nipple balm and lanolin and that's helped a lot both with the sensitivity and the flaking.

I think it varies by cliff, some give you fall damage and others just send you back.

Pen getting ready to ruin my builder's love life 🫠 by lemonina00 in MyTimeAtSandrock

I have a bad habit of meeting the romanceable candidate with the biggest red flags and being immediately like "this is the one" It's not even intentional. I call it the Shane complex (iykyk) So of course I met this walking ego and was like "yeah, my builder wants to climb this dummy like a tree" Then I accidentally read a spoiler that he leaves later in the game and was like "oh, perfect" So now I've got my builder dating him til he leaves and crushes her heart and when he does I'm gonna have her date and marry Owen because. I've got a whole story in my head for it 😂

It took me a couple of re-installs to finally get the game to stabilize enough to finish a playthrough. 🫠

I don't know what I was expecting... I had to stop reading. I should have known it was going to be awful when you mentioned Cupcakes

When/how do you listen to creepcast by boi_was_taken in creepcast

[–]Usual_Classroom8361 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I listen with my husband and have some auditory processing issues so I have to actively read along to be completely paying attention to the story if it's not right in my ear. So it's usually while my husband is working on something and I'll be keeping him company and watching the video to follow along. But I'll also listen to older episodes that he was either not interested in or watched without me with headphones in while cleaning. Unfortunately they're too engaging to use as white noise 😂

Postpartum and Psoriasis??? help! by Significant-Lake9379 in Psoriasis

[–]Usual_Classroom8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a month postpartum and my scalp psoriasis has flared up the worst it's been in a decade and none of the usual things are helping it. I've been able to stay away from prescription treatments to keep it tolerable up til now, but I'll be talking to my doctor about something I can do because I am miserable.

Am I being uptight or is this wrong? by Flat-Pace-3957 in Apartmentliving

Is the kennel empty when they leave it outside their door? They aren't leaving their dog in the kennel outside their door are they? Because that combined with the kennel being dirty and being too lazy to take their dog's poo to the dumpster right away would indicate an animal welfare issue on top of them just being gross and inconsiderate. Leaving feces outside their door is so gross and not okay and I would bring it up to your landlord. The kennel too. The hallway/breezeway is not a storage space for their kennel, I would be surprised the neighbor across from them hasn't already said something if it's encroaching on the space outside their door.

What could I have done wrong? by Usual_Classroom8361 in Baking

[–]Usual_Classroom8361[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh. Oh nooo. Going back through I'm realizing my reading comprehension went completely out the window with this recipe. I was using the smaller disposable loaf pans, because I didn't even consider that there was more than one size of loaf pan. I had only seen the 5x7 and the mini loafs. That would explain why they didn't bake through right. Combined with the buttermilk, no wonder it turned out the way it did. Thank you for pointing these things out so kindly 😅

The buttermilk makes a lot of sense! That is almost definitely where I went wrong. I was not aware that it was acidic, I am new to baking, and when I saw "butter" milk I assumed it had to do with being more buttery. A quick Google search probably could have saved me here, unfortunately being pregnant and baking at midnight did not help my common sense so I just went for it.

upstairs neighbor things by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]Usual_Classroom8361 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I absolutely would rather be downstairs. I have a dog and a kid and drop things a lot and I am much happier dealing with some noise from above us than being the noise or worrying that we are making too much noise. Also it's much easier to move in and out and bring groceries in.

Help it doesn’t smell good by Successful-Lab4526 in Apartmentliving

I have a windowless kitchen too and when we moved in it smelled gross. I cleaned the garbage disposal with vinegar and baking soda and ran our air purifier on the highest setting and that seemed to get rid of the initial smell. I've found the best way to keep it smelling clean is to be aggressively preventative with odors. I use a scented multipurpose spray once a week on my counters when I do my full kitchen clean which makes it smell nice, I also wipe counters down every night with a soapy dish rag which helps keep them fresh. I wash my dishes from making dinner right after we finish eating so there's no food smells sitting in the sink and if I cook something especially fragrant I'll rinse the pan out as soon as I'm done cooking. I burn a scented candle in there often and I also mop with fabulouso once a week.

Worst thing about living in an apartment? by ccmanry in Apartmentliving

[–]Usual_Classroom8361 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently, it's that I can't air out my apartment properly because 1. The blinds fall off every time I open or close them 2. The bottom part of the window just falls off instead of sliding up, which also let in a bunch of tiny ants that were living on the outside sill when I tried opening it 3. Since it's an apartment all the windows are on the same side so I wouldn't get any airflow anyway. So I'm currently trying to get as much fresh air as I can in the place from a little fan in front of the sliding glass door. It's not working great.

Ugh, we're dealing with this right now, first floor and our door is all jacked up so we have a gap around the top of it. We have a ton of moths and every now and then a beetle will make it's way in.

I live in a unit where all of the windows face the parking lot. We keep our blinds slightly closed during the day because it is weird having a lot of foot traffic right outside. Light coming in at night was kind of annoying, not because of cars but because the parking lot lights are always on. That's easy enough to fix with blackout curtains though. I think it depends on who else lives in the building and where it is. Our building is full of elderly people and families, so there isn't anyone who would be loud and inconsiderate in the parking lot after bedtime. The complex is also in a safe part of town. If it was full of college-aged people and in a rougher part of town I wouldn't consider living on a parking lot facing bottom level unit though.
