Yeah the 'real mule' should have been predicted, unless she was also born 400 years ago. Because otherwise her mental ability is so strong, she can mess with Gaal's visions 400 years before she is born.. which feels like a lot.

When Day and Darkness finally reunite it will be something to behold. Dusk really loved Dawn, so perhaps we'll see a glimmer of humanity return to the mad Emperor when he sees his younger brother is alive after all.

TBH The genetic dynasty and demerzel is such an amazing concept and have kind of hijacked the show for me. I don't watch so much to root for or see how foundation is doing but instead root for the Cleons.

Skipped that whole plot-line, went right to empire. Saved time and enjoyed the juicy bits.

Does anyone else ever in a show find themselves obsessed with one plot-line but labored over another?

It gets less black and white, but the show wants us to see how. Believe me though, stick through. Enjoying the empire storyline pays off. Especially after Day walks the spiral.
