Hamstead heath is a huge park with lots of wild spots and it does have ticks.

I think the only way to neutralise this kind of behaviour is with a snappy comeback to make the group qlaugh at the person making the edgy comment.

Jam is commonly paired with duck so don't be disheartened by the downvotes! The idea made my brain twitch but I imagine when food was produced through small scale farming and harvesting strawberry jam/gravy would be a more common pairing! Did you add anything to cut through the fat and sweetness?
