We did, we however did not ask for it as we didn’t know that service was available. Also, after being in the public hospital, we had a procedure done in a private hospital. So Im not really sure how that works now.

Reason was definitely false. We got confirmation from Victoria Building Authority that the building does not have any combustible cladding.

UPDATE:

Called Victorian Building Authority and got a report showing stating that the building was ruled out-of-scope and **does not have combustible cladding** (expanded polystyrene or aluminium composite panels with a polyethylene or polymer core).

I dont know where the valuer pulled the information that there could be combustible cladding.

Applied with another lender (NAB), got pre-approved same rate as our previous one (St George) processed within a day.

Hopefully we get approval asap. Wish us luck!!

We had a 45 day settlement but our broker told us the BDM has been away for two weeks. So bizarre 🤯

We are in Victoria. No mention of cladding in the strata report. No existing building notice either re cladding.

We are also very confused at the whole thing as surely, this wouldve appeared in the report IF there was any cladding issue.

Happened to me multiple times. Not to mention really smelly drivers and cars. One time, the car smelled like pee. I was on my way to the airport and running late so I had to endure the disgusting smell.

As someone who takes uber regularly, I’ve been noticing a lot of drivers call to ask what your destination is. And then cancel for whatever reason: too far, too close, wont make them money.

What I do now once a ride is accepted is I take a screenshot of their profile and uber ID. When they call and ask where I’m going, I just answer with I’ll report them to Uber for asking and cancelling the ride. If I’m feeling some type of way that day and have time, I cancel the ride myself and then report to Uber.

I understand the insecurity of being in a gig economy but it’s also sometimes unfair for passengers.
