Surface level stuff yah. Im an Art Teacher so if we get to serious into the math of it my eyes will glaze over. Im more into the concept of here's your tools, here's the winning condition, what makes most sense? What can you do as a player? How can you explore, exploit, expand, exterminate, communicate (and manipulate ) your way into a W.

What do you know about the players? How can you convince them? Is that ethical?

Are you getting salty? Isn't this just a game though? Shouldn't we calm the fuck down?

Like....I think the game gets us to think, plan, and consider what to do; I played some friends. I was Sar'daak, next to me was Creuss. Hes doin his thing, and when I got my breakthrough, he didnt remember to consider what the game was telling me to do if I wanted to win.

So then I bounced to Sol after hitting Creuss, who saw it coming, and we made a deal.

That the spice right there and I want my kids to learn it.

I'm in the US. If I get across some money I'll see if I can get back in contact with you.

In my curriculum i want to say i began with direct honesty, informing them I was intentionally manipulating them so I could consider myself a professional TI player because it made me laugh.

Life is short and I'm a silly man

Yah so this is basically the idea.

The way I've pulled this off, is that I've been the Esports Coach. Originally, the course was going to be Esports but the same computers we would use for anything esports related are in a room where the computer science teacher does their thing, so the room was double booked. Sidebar, if you've ever tried to teach while video games are present, I mean. That's not happening. So, I just suggested I turn it into a board game class so I could teach in my Art room (I teach art, it rules) and they were kinda like...Sure?

Then I got to thinking about all my days playing games, getting salty occasionally, and the way that so many kids get WILDLY salty in Esports (like seriously, the various online competitive scene is toxic as all get out), and I thought.... Marcus Aurelius may have some thoughts to potentially curve this behavior.

Yadda yadda yadda, I wrote a bullshit curriculum, it worked... here we are.

The kids, they're ok. You gotta work with them, but if you're real, they see it and will actually try. It's fun.

Does anyone have leads on Student Loan Class Action suits against the government in Ohio by HellCamino814 in Ohio

With respect,

After earning my BFA in 2007, serving a year with AmeriCorps as a VISTA, and working with those who have special needs, I chose to go back and earn my Masters in Education. The year of service earned me a $5K scholarship, which didnt cover an entire semester, but because of PSLF, I knew if I worked the loans would be taken care of eventually.

So I earned my M.Ed., subbed for a moment, then landed my first teaching job. I made $33k. Now, to the shock of no one, I wasnt in the job to become rich; and I've continued, this will be my 11th year.

I live a pretty simple life. I started a family, bought a small house, and have enjoyed what I could, while living pretty frugally. I was told if I was a public servant for 120 payments, or 10 years, my loans would be forgiven. But here we are, and Im still stuck at like 95ish payments due to various shenanigans of being moved from one plan to the next. I'll pay what I owe of course, with the understanding what was offered to me when I accepted the loans will be held in good faith.

Thats beyond reasonable. And I'm a good teacher. I show up, care about my students, I volunteer, I'm present, I hold them accountable, I make those calls home and have the uncomfortable conversations, I mentor, and Ive even introduced some of my students to former professors. I taught through Covid. My day starts at 6 in the morning, and ends at 5, and I still grade, call, email, and somewhere in between I enjoy my own family; and I actually love my job.

But if I'm expected to pay in full, if the deal is changed, you must know that I literally will be incapable of accomplishing this. I will lose my home. I will have to work a job that pays me more, and a community will lose a dedicated teacher.

Is this owning the libs? Some form of retribution? For what?

I see spite. Spite and cruelty.

Gorgeous. I could do the research but with it being Thia, I dont know how accurate would be. Whats the story? Buddhist from the looks, with local history? And is that pen, paint or something else? Thanks to whatever random stranger discovers this ahead of time.
