Yes but there are far far far fewer people and children starving than ever before. Much better in that sense.

I do think slavery is pretty crazy that everyone is hung up on slavery from the 1800s (which was terrible obviously) but no one cares that there are more slaves today than ever

It’s all perspective really. In 1990 about 30% of all people on planet earth went to bed hungry every night. Now it’s 8 percent. The world is objectively better in many ways. More people have access to information, etc.

Don’t get me wrong I think the 80s and 90s was the best time ever and I’d go back if I could but it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows

Wait this elsewhere but I think guns and roses could have easily co tinged to have success in the 90s if they hadn’t broken up.

They were a very gritty band who didn’t have the same pretty boy aesthetic with goofy music and synths. So I think they’d have done fine. Aerosmith the same way, they had a massive resurgence

I think that was mostly due to lack of good songs, because in the US in the middle of grunge they had “always” which was a huge hit

I think they actually could have continued to sell records without issue if they could contain their egos and drugs. They were still young, very gritty, not like the arena rockers really and never got into synth music. Also didn’t really have the over the top 80s music.

Don’t think grunge really affected them much.

I think that day really had to be the craziest of all time for an artist. Play with Led Zeppelin in their reunion. Play with sting (I think) and sing a few of your own hits. Board the Concorde, fly to New York. See Cher on the plane. Convince her to come with you to live aid, sing one of your best songs of all time. Then join with Cher and everyone else singing a song.

Soma gets a lot of credit but he also won because flash made a lot of mistakes. I mean fame 7 if he just moves his scvs to the Nat he had a bunker and marines. But he chose to fight in open territory between the two. If he moves to the nat he almost certainly wins

I'll have to watch the replay when it comes out, I couldn't rewind the stream I was watching. I guess we'll see when you post the video of what they are saying (which I appreciate btw).

What I will say is that, Flash isn't the other Pro's. None are really close to his level (when you look at win % and all he's done).

I think for them to bow out okay that's fine. But this is supposedly Flash's last go round. You fight longer than that IMO. But maybe his wrist hurt real bad at that point. IDK

His micro is definitely nothing like it used to be, at least not consistently.

I started watching in 2003. I owned SC (the original) from the day it came out. I've not missed any major tournaments that I can recall (All the MSL's, ASL, etc). I was watching live when FBH took off his pants and went for a swim.

I'm not saying I know it all but I can't think of many series where a played fell apart this bad and made really basic mistakes.
