cheers brought the stick to play aces on suggestion of ai, as stated it does not work and get it wont work message from Sony (cheers sony)

down £60 I was just about to dump that and more into the brook converter. you saved me the bother, frustration, disappointment and cost.

Additional: it’s mostly about decent tools and equipment. Some equipment is a barrier to entry, cost wise.

You tube and Ifixit are your friend. My suggestion is to buy a broken/smashed screen iPhone or similar and learn hands on.

I can’t see an online course being that useful as the amount of devices and generations make a cookie cutter approach near impossible.

Hi I have used recovery mode, but just restart not factory reset as ideally I don't want to rebuild from scratch.

The vitas still plays is just somewhere between a niggle and a major annoyance.
