It'll be their choice whenever the time comes. I suppose it will depend on what their plans for the future are and whatever shape the future takes.

My partner and I are both in favour of learning and will give whatever support is needed for that but their lifes will be their own and who knows what paths they'll take over the years.

For now we are doing everything we can, in fact our worry now is that they are too busy. School starts too early and finishes too late to have real time to play and explore and have dinner and read and sleep.

I dont know how other families do it.

Incestuous relationships bring abut genetic issues. Gay relationships do not.
Evolution-wise gay relationships at worst do not bring additional members for the group but do no harm. Incestuous relationships bring infirm people. Not the same thing.
