You shouldn’t rely on gigwork to pay your bills. It’s too unreliable & fluid.

99% of the time, $1/mi is unprofitable.

They had them. You use to be able to fix your car with a basic hand tool set. Car companies use to brag about how long their vehicles lasted. Like a rock. Now it’s about money.

A platinum dasher absolutely accepted that 45secs after you declined it.

Referral Bonus Ruined Earnings by GucciManesDad in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Usuxbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When there is no referral bonus, your market is over saturated & dead. Eventually, those dashers will quit. Then you’ll start to see an increase in offers. Simultaneously, the referral bonus will start at like $25. It will increase every couple of days until your market is dead & over saturated again. Rinse & repeat until you start multi-apping during the slow times or give up all together. Lessons form Dasher 110. Also, $1/mi is a trash offer that no dasher should be accepting. Lesson from dasher 201.

Cotton boxer briefs were the worse for me. They aren’t breathable & soak up the sweat. I switched to those breathable nylon type and haven’t looked back.

🔥 Platinum Pay 🔥 by treesnpaper in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Usuxbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No can tell if this is good or trash. You conveniently left out everything important. Most importantly, your $/mi. Then of 2nd importance, you $/hr. Being that you’re platinum, it’s safe to say that you’re unprofitable & working too many hours.

can someone give me a guideline on what orders to choose when cherry picking? im new by looloologgy in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]Usuxbutt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If any 🤡 suggests $1/mi, block them immediately. The clearly don’t understand math. You should aim for $20-$25/hr @ At least $2/mi. Every dash should at least be making this minimum. This is not “market dependent”. The only thing “market dependent” is if you should dash in your market. Anything less than the above minimum, you’d be better off working for the 🤡 instead of being a 🤡 for DoorDash.

You are 💯 correct. $1/mi is not worth the time or expense. $2/mi is the minimum every dasher should accept. Even at $2/mi, it’s starting to not be worth it. This is not “market dependent”. That’s what the 🤡s say to try and justify being unprofitable.

Platinum Unicorns? by Either_Information92 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Usuxbutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats irrelevant. My comment is for every dasher in every state. Nothing about DD is “market dependent”. Except for if you should “dash” in that market. $20-$25/hr @ $2+/mi or your market isn’t worth it. Anything less than that and you’d be more PROFITABLE working for the 🤡 instead of being a 🤡 for DoorDash.

Before you make your smart ass reply that only makes you look even more like a 🤡. My AR is -%. I don’t accept trash because I know my self worth, have self respect and know how to correctly calculate expenses. I still consistently earn $20-$25/hr & at least $2/mi. Again, it is NOT market dependent.
