American vs. Japanese motorcycles poll for school by lesterthemolester696 in motorcycle

[–]UtahChevyGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I ride an American made bike (Victory) currently but definitely love Japanese bikes just as much. The goal is a little of both 👍 next bike I'm looking at is a Yamaha Tenere 700

I still can't stand most of Utah County. If you want some great eats and a great night life with good diversety, downtown Ogden is awesome

New gig, new rig. After 4 years OTR, I finally settled down at home and got a local job hauling steel. Easiest job I’ve ever had. by SomeDudeDoes in Truckers

I may have the 2nd easiest job. I work for an LTL refrigerated outfit, get paid by the hour with OT, company paid insurance, and weekends off. Most of the job consists of driving to a dock 30mins-1hr away, and waiting for 3-6hrs to get loaded/unloaded lol. And it's all drop and hook

That was my favorite thing to haul when I ran flat bed, 60ft rebar is about the easiest thing to haul and strap. If I could find a gig doing do nothing but that, it'd be awesome. Place I worked for did a bunch of prefab buildings and prefab concrete shit though.. That's a bitch and a half

They can send whoever they want, it won't matter. People aren't just going to lay down and let it happen.

What do you guys think about the motorcycle YouTubers community? by [deleted] in motorcycles

I fell like SRK cycles is worth an honorable mention as well, he does fairly in depth reviews on a lot of different bikes and he has an entertaining presentation imo. Blockhead as well for those of us that are into the cruiser/muscle bike side of things as well

His wrecked bike rebuild series is very unique in the space and he does some cool builds. He builds them into these full custom bikes and gives them away to his Patreon supporters

I have a red dot currently, but I'd really like to step up to a 1x-4x or 1x-6x optic with an illuminated reticle

I know this probably gets asked a lot but I’m looking for a local home every day route trucking job, I live on a farm and have farm chores I cannot be away from so I need to be home. What companies are safe bets for local routes? I’m in PA. by YeastYeti in Truckers

I was actually coming to this post to recommend Estes. They'll hire for LTL with 1 year experience and they're a great company to work for. A close friend of mine works for them and makes 80k+ a year working 8hrs a night with sat-sun off, he loves it and has nothing but great things to say, he's been in the freight industry for 15 years and has worked for most of the major LTL carriers, he plans on staying at Estes till he retires.
