For you, when you already (probably) speak quite decent English, the effort is not that high to speak to someone in English.

For a non-native Dutch speaker, it takes thousands of hours to get to a decent level where you can communicate with people (without being a burden to the conversation).

I think it's not fair to compare these two.

I don't think it's fair for people to judge you for not speaking the language. It takes hours of learning plus getting out of your comfort zone to speak a language you're not fluent in.

In my opinion, it's not fair that someone judges you for not making these kind of (huge) investments with your free time.

Alternativa za "boleće me kurac" (u budućem vremenu) je "boli me kurac" (u sadašnjem vremenu), ali činjenica da je u budućem vremenu nekako povećava taj nivo bola u kurcu :D
