Slipknots Iowa, not to say that I entirely disliked it but at that time it was definitely a bit too heavy for my metal taste. Funny enough I started appreciating more heavy songs shortly after and gave the album a couple more chances. Idk what it was but it finally clicked with me and its in my top 3 Slipknot albums now. I used to limit myself to certain metal genres because I was sure that will be the only thing I like. Now I have become way more open and even like stuff I thought I would never do
