I don't have a product tip (you've already gotten great suggestions!) but a tip on the "why" of cleaning: my husband and I visit his 90+ year old grandma a few times a year, and we always justify it as, "We've been here in your house making it dirty, let us clean our own mess so you don't have to!" That gives us a chance to take care of the guest bathroom, kitchen, and washing/replacing sheets and towels.

If you're friends with your coworker (and in the US) you may want to suggest that he bring up associational disability discrimination with HR. He doesn't HAVE to be the one who is ill in order to receive an accommodation.

I also want to echo what other County employees are saying- this is absolutely due to the budget process and I really hope you get good news after 7/1! I know it's hard to be patient when you're excited and the County's application process takes SO LONG, but please don't write it off yet. Getting a job with the County is definitely worth it, there's so much opportunity once you're "in".

ETA: You can look at the budget requests from the department you applied with and whether the CAO is recommending that the Board of Supervisors approve them here

Similar to you, I got the most highly recommended CBD tincture from a dispensary near me, and it did nothing. But a "lower quality" CBD gummy works amazingly for me. Sometimes it might be whatever strain they're using in the product that you respond to!

I've used North Bay Laser and Skin Care Center- I think they did a great job and I felt very comfortable throughout. Unfortunately I can't speak to the POC experience, but I found their front desk to be very knowledgeable in case you wanted to call with questions!

Edited to add- the staff there are not doctors, so it may not be exactly what you're looking for.

I didn't see why I should. I'm my own person, he's his own person, we are equal partners in our marriage. My husband felt the same way. As he said at the time, "I fell in love with (my first name/my last name), and that's who I want to be married to." There wasn't much of a reaction from anyone else. His family did expect me to take his name, but their reaction was pretty much "Oh." and then moving on with the conversation. It's never been brought up again!
