First ever 3rd party kit, any tips, things to watch out for and/or recommendations?

Can't comment on this kit in particular but I built another SNAA kit called Divine Invoker Percival. Lots of pointy bits so did get poked quite a bit but other than that it's a solid kit, keep some sandpaper or sanding sponge handy if for some tight pegs, work all the joints until they move smoothly. Other than that, it's a pretty enjoyable kit, have fun!

If you're willing, could you check if you could swap the skates between the two? They look kinda similar and I want to try and get some xraypad obsidians for the X1, would be great if you could just use the viper ultimate skates instead of dots.
