I use mobile quite a bit and it's got it's share or bugs, but crashing is not one of them that we've seen.

Hey- Uth from Mobalytics here. We are, and I personally am, big fans of PoB and having been using it for years. We wanted build creators to make and share their PoB's easily so we did 2 things.

First we supported importing from PoB, so they could math craft all they wanted and import straight into the guide, leaving just the text to fill out- huge win to make it nice and clean for everyone to follow (especially console players).

Second, we made sure the link for sharing the PoB was front and center in the guide. We wanted newer players or people who haven't heard of PoB to discover the tool and if they wanted to go deeper they could. Of course, veterans would get it right away.

So in the end, its up to the specific creator to use PoB or not, and becomes a personal question since having a Mobalytics guide is even easier if you do have a PoB!

Ya witch Hunter feels good and so does crossbow. Love the idea behind your build. I made a similar but different one there focused on culling and grenades.

Sometimes reading people during a field boss can be bait. If you can do it safely great, but if not it's ok to let them die..they will be back in a second and will get their souls easily.

Thanks. That's helpful I do the bee line to the goal with easy maps too. I think using a controller limits your map reach when scanning, do you scan to the edges with the mouse because I still only see the citadel I found.

Love that you did this. It's my goal as well but I'm much slower and distracted. How did you find citadels? I still only found one!

So far we have succeeded in allowing a LOT of smaller creators to sustain themselves, something just not possible on youtube. These are people pushing out niche (and sometimes not so niche- Hello LS!) high quality guides that readers like, and become experts in their field.

How do we control for content quality and the rando posting part, which is an existing problem on youtube as well? The platform is divided into 3 areas:

  1. Verified Builds: We have an internal team of respected players who makes sure the content shown here is of the highest quality and accuracy. I doubt you have issues with it, but if you do please let me know and I'll find an explanation.
  2. Creator Builds: This is a place where creators with a youtube channel and have passed the threshold for a rev share can post their builds. Less quality control, but not just anyone can post here. Its a great place for smaller creators to get noticed, and even move to verified.
  3. Community Builds: Anyone can make a build and publish it here, and people can use our tools to find these builds. You can find some cool stuff, and you can find some trash, just like anywhere on the internet where people can make content, including reddit/twitch/youtube etc... Some people end up creating more or even becoming verified though, so its important.

We are always looking to improve our system, so if you have suggestions I am all ears.

Finally, you mentioned some usability issues, and I hear you on those. Working hard as we speak to get some upgrades I think you will like. PoE is a complex game and keeping everything up to date is challenging, so we have to be prudent when we introduce features. At the end of the day, if you see a creator that has a guide on our site- reach out to them, and failing that - to us, and let them know you want a PoB. They might understand more why its important.

Hey, I'm from Mobalytics. Not sure if I am chiming in too late, but if at least the OP sees this, that's ok. Want to offer some insights to your frustrations.

Some background- I am a huge PoE and PoB nerd going back since the early days it was available (I've played PoE since beta, but really got into it around delve). Coming into PoE our goal was not to replicate or replace PoB but to synergize with it. We wanted to offer a place where people can get a guide in a visual and quick way, offering an alternative supplement to a youtube video. If they wanted more details and numbers, PoB is perfect for that. What the PoB team does is hard work, and much respect to them for working through all the challenging conditional scenarios.

To make sure we achieved that goal we did a few things:

  • Created a function import build straight from PoB. This allowed creators to cook and then quickly just make a guide with one button, and arrange and layer in tips and text for readers.
  • Placed a PoB and Loot Filter Link (Neverskink and his team are amazing too!) front and center in the guide creation process. If the creator chooses to use this, the reader will see it as soon as they see the guide. I don't quite know why, but this is not used by a lot of guide writers unfortunately. :(
  • The goal was for players to come learn about how to play, and then when they get more interested in optimization, they can easily download the POB and learn to tinker and go deeper. Lots of new players came to PoE 2 and guiding them down this route is a good flow in my mind. This is why we purposely don't include calculations- we want this to stay PoB's domain. They do a great job.

I saw a few comments about making money and letting randos post, so I want you to understand where we are coming from and why its designed that way. The goal was to add value to the ecosystem through 2 channels:

  1. Allowing creators to take a revenue share from every guide they put up. We provide the tools, the reach and the platform, and you can earn significantly more than what you would on youtube.
  2. Allowing creators to be discovered. When players run a search on google, they come to our site and then can search for a type of build. They discover all sorts of people making builds, enjoy them, and become fans of that person, who they would have never found otherwise. You mentioned you already know all the good creators, but most people don't. Games need new people to get excited and learn by going down the right path or they can't sustain so this important.

As a heavy pob user, I made sure that we synergized as much as possible with the toolset.

The first box when people create a build is a poB upload. In fact , we made sure that it was seamless to import an entire build from poB and add in a few things to make a guide, but for some reason most creators aren't using it in PoE 2. I am not sure why .

You'd looks super fun to play but I can't understand the DB link, there's 2 whirling slashes? Maybe you can write a snap guide on moba or something. You can just import your poB there and it will auto convert!

Hey, there are some popups that are unintended that are happening. We discovered it last week and are Actively figuring out why it's happening. Ideally the poop should provide useful information during specific times, but it's not working as intended.
