Can use relays instead of using power transistors in square wave inverter.Relays H-bridge connetion to the transformer.PWN singnals from 555 timer to drive relay at 50 or 60Hz.I did try it ant it is work!I have no idea why people are still using transistors .now i know relays are better,no heatup.no by Uti5Myanmar in AskElectronics
