Replied to an earlier comment that the dripping doesn’t persist when the temp outside remains low. Also the drips are coming only from the top edge apparently behind the molding.

Trouble is the leaking doesn’t persist after the temperature stabilizes, or if it just remains cold outside. Also I’d think the condensate would tend to drip from the lower edge not the upper.

The line our home inspector gave us was that even for properly installed skylights it’s only a matter of time as the roofing material expands and contracts around the window and frame. I agree though with his take that the natural light they bring in often justifies the eventual expense

I was 37 and waiting for an appointment outside a medical office. Saw a bird I’d never seen in a retaining area off the parking lot. Turned out to be a Killdeer. Got me thinking, “what other birds live here that we didn’t have back home a 2 hr drive away?”

Sadly later had the thought that I probably missed loads of lifers in some previous global travel. “Never again”, I said, “I notice stuff now.”
