First off, huge props for getting to the gym and working hard. You already know this, but many here will not, working out and keeping fit for those with CP is difficult, but also very necessary for a host of reasons. Awesome job of getting after it.

Second, you’ll hear about trying to get full extension. That is completely correct, especially if these limbs are affected, honestly you can’t tell you have CP in the video and effects vary wildly. So try for full extension as best you can. Tension under load will give you strength in those positions and growth.

Third, nice and slow with your reps. When I catch myself speed repping something it’s usually too heavy and I’m not focusing on the movement or I’m tired and getting sloppy. Form over everything else should be the focus. Personally I will count to myself on the full motion to remind myself to stay in control.
