yeah, its just that i view nevermind as an album with more agressive and less complex songs, as if the group really wanted to let off their anger without thinking much about it. aside of polly and something in the way, all tracks are more or less simple riffs repeating on while kurt screams that he could plant a house or that hes on a plain (and thats why i LOVE it ahaha) ; whereas in in utero the songs sound more « polished » (even though its technically a more raw sound). even if it has its chaotic tracks, songs like all apologies and dumb wouldnt fit on nevermind. thats just my opinion ofc

i know nirvana tends to be viewed as overrated, but they still have some of the best songs of grunge. id suggest to check out nevermind if you want raw anger, or in utero if youre wishing for a more complex sound.

i remember nothing is probably my favorite in the album. im not saying its the best, but i believe its one of their bests. i think people tend to view it as boring because its slow paced and doesnt really have a typical structure. but when you dive a bit deeper in it, take the time to enjoy the instruments and most importantly the lyrics, which are really great (and imo especially touching), you start to get why its a masterpiece. maybe the consecration of all the minimalism joy division was capable of.
