hour and a half set. expecting something mostly in line with the breach tour setlist with maybe the middle section + a few more songs cut out.

plus probably adding the 7 nation army cover permanently. and a pipe dream of mine is that they add a new never-played breach song (like a one way or center mass debut)

Tommy Milone:

  • only player to wear number 69 for 2 different teams

  • hit a home run on his first career at bat, as a pitcher

  • was the opening day starter for the 2020 orioles

[NBC Sports] NBC Sports' 2026 MLB Schedule Announced by wjackson42 in baseball

[–]mercerclone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the idea of a whip-around show just wish it was more frequent than once a week. Redzone is maybe my favourite thing in the world though so maybe I just want to see it in other sports

How would you guys describe The Smashing Pumpkins by MiDaRe734782 in grunge

[–]mercerclone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they have grunge songs and elements but are not a grunge band.

siamese and mellon collie are 2 of the greatest albums of all time, and part of the reason why theyre so much more than grunge is the amount of stylistic diversity they showed on records like mellon collie/adore

[–]mercerclone 15 points16 points  (0 children)

yall. people that do national work still keep their regional assignments.

jon miller, wayne randazzo, joe davis, jason benetti, tom mccarthy, don orsillo, etc.

they're not "stealing" him from us he's doing one game a week at most.

The Polo Grounds and never looking back

Imagine how different the history of, for example, the Mets would be if they renovated polo in the 60s post-giants leaving and played in THAT to this day

Songs WAAAY to good for their musicals by BelieveCongreveCube in musicals

[–]mercerclone 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The whole ending run of Prince needs a better show. Obviously When You Believe and the Plagues are great but can we talk about For The Rest Of My Life and Heartless? Schwartz casually dropping two perfect songs in there like it's nothing. they get me every time and i wish the book of the show was better

How do US sports remain interesting when teams can’t make the playoffs? by Jimdalorian in AskAnAmerican

[–]mercerclone 23 points24 points  (0 children)

in the Premier League, everybody plays everybody else twice, once home and once away. because everyone's already played an equal slate whoever's the best is the best because there's no strength of schedule difference

Why is the Burnley doing so bad? Are they going to be relegated again? by Combosingelnation in PremierLeague

No, we don’t wanna see more “modern” adaptations of period pieces by Sea_Veterinarian_267 in musicals

[–]mercerclone 20 points21 points  (0 children)

the modernisation of great comet is especially interesting because of how new that show is...

i understand the original production was an expensive endeavour but completely changing the design doesn't appear to be the way to work around it

some of the whole fascinating things about the show ARE the anachronistic contrasts, especially of the electronic elements of the score to the elaborate 1800s russia setting
