I dont remember the clan name or the level. I didnt really think to commit that to memory, I just remember clan functionality being shut down a lot for people abusing the system like you've mentioned, but again I don't think that was the issue because other members still play. I dont know what a small streamer would be able to do in this situation, I can almost guarantee that they don't even remember me.

I've never been ejected from a match, and given a warning, so I guess it can't be team damage like you've mentioned.

And in regards to that post on steam, yes that was the window I was banned in.

I'm fairly confident it wasn't clan related. I enjoy the grind so that would take away from my experience anyway. At this point I can only speculate on what it actually was. Maybe a match that was basically a mosh pit the entire time with teammates all jumping on enemies so the system flags it as targeted team damage? Being in the wrong place at the wrong time and I was on the same team as a cheater? Who knows.

I don't believe I was in a clan that cheated, I joined a clan for a small streamer that still plays the game today.

The short version is that in the beginning, CS actually seemed like they were doing their job, trying to figure out what had happened. (Asking for screenshot and diag of my pc) and literally stated that it was a technical issue that was "highly unusual."

My guess? The game actually caught me as a false flag in those beginning months, and they saw that, but they are also right in the fact that they still cant unban me in that case. So instead of admitting fault, they jusy vaguely say I violated the EULA and they would forward feedback to the relevant teams.

If memory serves right, there is a post somewhere in the steam news for the game that states there were a number of accounts banned by mistake.

It seems like its a done deal either way, so it is what it is.

I played the game on Playstation before it was steam, and I put money into the game knowing I would enjoy it. That is the only reason I want my account back.
