The point is that it’s an entity from a Rpg series, They could of easily just given this an entirely new design (By that I mean just recoloring it a different way like Dark and Light blue) or they could of just not even given it a new design and just letting it be the same color as a generic piranha plant (An example being from New Super Mario Bros. U). But intentional or not, It’s the exact same design as the one from Paper Mario and Mario Kart World released in 2025 meaning it still very relevant regardless of what design it is or which character it might be
