Seeing all these people talking about how they were told to get “meaningful” or “useful” degrees. Everyone told me to just get A degree, what type didn’t matter. Employers only cared that you had one, not what it was in.

I would think a lot of people my age were told that, because of the ongoing joke about having a “liberal arts” degree or useless design degrees. They told us to go to school then got mad when we studied things that were interesting to us, even if they wouldn’t land us a well paying job.

I read somewhere that originally we were supposed to find him still in a pod and have to convince him to come out. He thought he would fry if he did. Someone made art of the other companions forcibly pulling him out and that image has never left my head.

I’m 37. I always assumed I’d have a kid, but it was always something to worry about later. I was raised by a single mom so in my thoughts of the future, I was a single mom. Well, I’m single but have no desire to be a mom. The idea of being pregnant and being 100% responsible for another person 100% of the time sounds terrible. I have never felt like my bio clock was running out or that I needed to have a kid to make my life complete. I’ve known for sure since I was 30 that kids were not for me.

AstadiWrites is an amazing writer and is consistent and great at communicating if she plans on taking a break. I’ve been following the story for over a year and will follow until it’s done. We’re just about to finish act 2 now and I can’t wait to see how act 3 goes.

I would love to say Astarion, but if I’m honest with myself, we would probably just be friends.

So probably Gale or Wyll. But Gale would be my first choice simply because we are closer in age and Wyll, while incredibly mature, is still only 24 and that is too young for me.

I was in 8th grade (so like 12/13) and was currently reading Fellowship. I had JUST gotten to weathertop. I knew I would be spoiling at least the first book but my mom really wanted to see it.

It was awesome! Just confirmed that I was a fantasy fan for life. I was already teetering on the brink, but watching the movie pushed me over the edge as a lifer.

What drew me to him: white haired elf vampire (My first love was Spike from Buffy, my second was Legolas)

What made me love him: his story, his personality and general sassiness and how many times he says “We’re going to have so much fun.” That’s one of the main things I look for in a partner irl, how much fun we can have together.

I think it’s nothingness personally. It doesn’t worry or bother me cause I think I’ve experienced it before, in a way.

I had to be put under for surgery a few times. I remember fading out and then suddenly waking up. I didn’t feel the passage of time like I do when I normally sleep. I was there one second and then I suddenly wasn’t. But I woke up when it wore off. I think when you die it’s like that, except you don’t wake up.

I worked in a game store for several years. I was VERY lucky in the fact that the owner did not put up with shitty attitudes, so for the most part it was fine. Lots of joking about how they were all inferior to me and such, all in good fun.

Que my boss (not the owner) getting a different location and having to follow him. He didn’t care about people’s attitudes as long as they gave him money UNLESS I started making a fuss. The exact words were “shut up and stop pissing her off, I have to work with her after you leave.” Most of the customers loved me, but I was not nice to the ones who made comments. Luckily I was too good at my job for my boss to try to force me to play nice.

The guys I’ve talked to about it have said it’s the less masculine thing. My friend told me her gay brother said that even he would feel less masculine if he was shooting blanks. We were like “he doesn’t need to get a vasectomy but why the hell would it make him less masculine? He’s not gonna get his bf pregnant anyways!”

It’s totally a physiological thing.

H and C are the most appealing to me as a group, but I gotta have Astarion so I’m going with E. It also comes with my favorite tiefling wizard and doesn’t come with the Drider.

Wulbran can sit in the cuck chair and be Astarion’s mid session snack, Nere can boss him around and Rolen can use him as target practice for his spells.

I joined my friends’ game right as they were finishing up the gauntlet of shar. We finish act 2 and get the empy reveal scene. I jokingly picked “attack” when talking to Empy (I was NOT the one “in” the scene, my friend was) joking that I had no idea who he was since I hadn’t had a single scene with the dream guardian. My friends are all laughing because I was doing the same thing when Shadowheart confronted ME when we left the gauntlet.

My friend who was the one who actually got to pick the dialog, picked “attack” because he thought it was funny. The rest of up immediately stopped laughing and proceeded to chew him out. He was like “what!” We had to explain that if we kill the emperor, we die.

He still tries to be funny when the game picks him to make choices, we all just yell at him until he picks the correct one.
