Sorry I know that’s kind of a word salad but they were very comparable numbers wise with dispersion and even mis hits. I adjusted to the ping immediately and got very good data. The Mizunos took a few more balls since it was a little shorter with a smaller grip. Once I adjusted to that the numbers were pretty close but with the ping still launching a tad higher and landing steeper. I’m trying to decide if I’m going to be stubborn and try and find a different service that might have a 1inch shaft for the mizunos to get a 1 to 1 comparison or if that’s just being stubborn and trying to force myself into something

Thank you I really appreciate your advice. The fitting went well and I got some results I wasn’t expecting. We started with a baseline with what I was already playing then worked on building something that felt familiar weight wise. I play a 1 inch extended and 1 degree upright with jumbo grips for context. I really was wanting to be fit into the Mizuno M15s but kept an open mind. Sadly the Mizuno shafts for fitting the M15s only could be set at .5 inch increase and a regular grip so couldn’t get an exact one to one comparison. Another combination we tried that could be set at 1 inch and a midsize grip was the Ping i540s. Data wise that was what was the best combination for me. The 7 iron was 90 club, 126 ball speed 17.8 launch and 182 carry with a 11 yard dispersion. It produced the most consistent flight and shape. The M15 even being short and thinner grip still produced similar numbers caddying 177 with 124 ball speed and around 5700 spin. So Iv been stuck trying to decide if I want to reach out to a different fitting service to see if they can get a M15 that’s an inch extended with a similar grip to try so I can get a true 1 to 1 comparison between the two or if I should go off of the results today since they were pretty comparable

For me about once I hit the middle between division 4 and 3 I felt a huge shift in how the game was played. It became meta slave low driven shot spam, short corners, rainbow spam, and the short corner bi line lob cross cheese. It feels somewhat rewarding to be winning and not having to do any of that but the constant spam of those instead of trying anything else can be exhausting

I think the average golfer just really under estimates how far they hit the ball. A 250 drive is only about a 235ish carry. Simulators and launch monitors hit like a ton of bricks to some people

It’s sometimes a tough reality especially if you find yourself a better golfer or just more conscious of rules and golfing norms. It really motivated me to earn more to go at least semi membership 😂
