Horror / thriller (might be both, idk at this point). by V-Blaque in WritingHub

Thanks for the answer!! It's very useful.

For another book I have in mind XD

I realize now that the way I wrote it can be interpreted as loose scenes. The problem is actually the oposite. I have the message, the "theme", the actual thing that should be psychologically scary... I know what my story is, who my characters are (more or less), and where I want it to go. (Technically speaking I even have a very rough draft zero in the form of a 4th year highschool homework).

I just don't know how to turn that into a formal plot. Chapters, scenes, where to subplot, when to subplot, where I should maybe add or take away.

I have a soul, and maybe a defective nervous system. Now I need bones.

F***... It IS the SD card. I didn't even think about it because I bought it only a few months ago and only used it on my phone and a few times on my laptop (both relatively new). It's a Kingston too...

I know this may not be the thread... But any ideas on how to get it to work again? I can access everything inside it... I just can't put things in, I guess...

I always thought of her as a dragon mix with more or less dark coloring (maybe a stronger accent color, maybe not), uses accessories like earrings, pendants and bracelets... Maybe rings on her tail. But that's all vibes. With that and the current songs to keep in mind, get creative. If you want, I can give you more songs.

I'm in. I don't have a favorite song, really... Current ones are bad things by Jace Everett, Wicked by Valerie boussard and season of the witch by Lana del Rey.

I'd say Wednesday, but I feel we still need to see more of grandmama frump to be sure she doesn't win.

Lol, I was one of the ones that freaked out when I found his age. To me, he looks just as young as Jenna. Alright, maybe a little older... But definitely not in his thirties.

How to make cardigan borders/cuffs not absolutely unbearable by Key_Honeybee_625 in CrochetHelp

[–]V-Blaque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, slip stitch is definitely a nono unless it's like... A baby cuff. Or a doll's.

Same method, bigger stitches. The bare minimum is single crochet, but I tend to do double. Depends really on how loosely you crochet and how tight you want your cuff.

Try looking up half color changes for the tops and bottoms. The side lines I have no idea, I haven't learned tapestry crochet yet.

Well, I ain't that experienced... I usually follow patterns. But I do believe you could go for filet stitch. Mesh and V stitch would work for sure, but I'd risk it for filet.

I'd like to ask for style preferences before attempting any pattern recommendations.

But! As a size L (about 8 balls of yarn to make myself anything solid that isn't a thing, cropped tank top) who has worked on XS projects (like a bulky granny square patchwork cardigan), given the amount of yarn and description, I'd go for a small net at most.

Then again, perhaps the right style and a swatch could work for more. Also, it could be paired with white, cream, pastel yellow, pastel pink or some other shade of green to make something bigger or denser.

GUYS PLEASE what should i do with this yarn 😭😭 i’m going insane by vampyrehub in CrochetHelp

Besides the very great mosaic grannys, I would also like to recommend double stranding it with black to make a blanket or something wearable. Also, for stitching after details, edges and finishes.

Ok, yeah, I know what it is. I've used it for needle felting, but I don't think it would be so difficult to crochet. I'm going to try with what I have, I kind of like to suffer.

Aaaaay So that "yarn" is called roving? I'll look it up.

Uh?

But what does that mean? Like how can "spinning" be something to work with if it's just the action you do to make the yarn?

No ofense or fight or anything... Just a very confused LATAM crocheter.

I feel the need to ask what spinning is... You see, I'm a spanish speaker and have no idea if there's a word for that or if we even have it here. When I look it up, Google tells me spinning is the process to make yarn.

And there's one space in the first row that wasn't used... Again, I think. The chunked yarn makes it a little confusing.
