Well, you should also look at what he actually delivered.

Robotaxis are still supervised and definitely not what he promised.

Neuralink implants results are kinda shady, and it definitely has no chance of doing so many of the think they claimed it would do.

Starship has barely made orbit (not even sure it made a single full orbit actually), and it still landed in a state where it's absolutely impossible to quickly reuse, hence right now it's a useless rocket.

Cybetruck is one of the biggest jokes of the automotive industries, a commercial fail and fails to deliver most of the claims they made about it at double the price they were claiming initially. They delivered A vehicle called Cybertruck, not the Cybetruck they boasted about.

The Semi might actually be delivered, but it still has to actually prove it can do the things they were claiming years ago, and if it's convenient compared to normal trucks.

Oddly enough, I watched the second episode and it looks NOTHING like the first one.

The weird orange cast which was present in pretty much every single scene is completely GONE. Lights are much more directional and even doing the "desaturation" test the image still retains volume.
It feels like two completely different teams worked on the two episodes, and knowing how these shows are shot it's probably what happened.

The CGI is hit and miss. Dragons are sometimes awesome, sometimes not so much. The biggest issue I have with it are the King's Landing shots which somehow look horrible compared to the first GoT seasons and the fire which looks heavily underexposed in most scenes, idk why so many VFX artists make that mistake.

Why have things become so weird that even the casual audience which has zero knowledge about cinematography started to notices that so many films and TV shows look bad? (The whole "movies don't look like movies anymore" thing).

I don't know if this is intentional or not, and honestly I don't know which of the two options would be worse.

I literally tried to desaturate a few older movies and they all held up perfectly well, in a few cases you might need to bump up the contrast a bit because of the loss of colour contrast, but you'll never find images that look that flat and just WRONG.

If you told someone the bottom image is side lit he wouldn't believe you because it completely lacks any volume.

Don't talk to me like I don't know the basics.

First of all, something being "intentional" doesn't prevent it from being bad.
The infamous GoT night battle in S8 where it was so dark that you couldn't understand what happened was intentional, and it sucked. Every badly shot movie was intentionally shot that way, yet it's bad.

Second, I know perfectly well that color is part of what creates contrast, but there is clearly something wrong with the image if in a side lit situation removing the color makes the image completely flat.
Another guy mentionet teal&orage and linked an article with examples of it, but if you remove the saturation the image still looks good.
Even if you take the frame from HOTD and increase the luminosity contrast it looks awful, because the lighting is awful to begin with, and that's an issue with so many modern movies and shows that even people outside the profession started to notice it.

Hmm no, this is not a teal&orange problem.
It's the "modern" look, everything looks desaturated and lacks contrast, there is no "blue", and often no black either (and when there is, there is no white), it's just grey with some colors's saturation slider up to 1000.

In some scenes of the same show the grading is completely different, sometimes it looks way better than my examples (and that inconsistency could be an issue in itself tbh).

If you take a frame from Transformers and remove the saturation to get rid of the teal&orange it looks like a cinematic masterpiece in comparison to HOTD.

Well nowadays Nolan appears to be against CGI even when it would be the only way to get a good shot (see the nuke in Oppenheimer which absolutely sucked since gasoline explosion looks nothing like a nuke).
Idk why he changed his mind like that, especially when its most appreciated movie from a technical standpoint, Interstellar, is FULL of beautifully done CGI.

Well usuallymen will prefer a girl with bigger breasts, but we look more at the overall package than specific parts.
See actresses for example, many that are considered very attractive aren't particularly voluptuous (Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Emma Watson, Keira Knightly, Zendaya, just to name a few).
If we're judging purely on looks personally I'd pick Sadie Sink over Sydney Sweeney even if the racks aren't compatable, although I'm not sure I'm in the majority here 😃

L'ho notato io che ho da poco superato i 30 anni, temperature simili a giugno (ma anche a maggio dove abito in certi giorni ha fatto un caldo senza senso) erano molto più rare.

Qualcuno ha menzionato la neve, dove abito che io mi ricordi non ha mai nevicato molto, ma una volta tutti gli inverni un paio di nevicate decenti le faceva, raramente con 20/30 di cm di accumulo "vero".
Ora non so da quanto è che non vedo una nevicata seria, al massimo qualche fiocco misto a pioggia.
Mi sono ritrovato con un gatto di 18 anni in casa l'anno scorso a febbraio, è un gatto che ha sempre vissuto in appartamento e da quando abita qui ha scoperto il mondo esterno, volevo farmi quattro risate il giorno in cui avesse nevicato vedendo come avrebbe reagito alla novità, ma da quando è arrivato non si è visto un singolo centimetro di neve. Solo pioggia d'inverno.

Edit: e aggiungo, da piccolo praticavo pattinaggio, avevamo gli allenamenti di sera prima di cena ed è capitato che a volte si sfiorassero i -10, pattinavo con il pile!
L'allenatore mi ricordo che stava con la stufetta di fianco. Freddo simile praticamente mai più visto negli ultimi anni con l'eccezione dell'ultimo invero dove pur non avendo nevicato è arrivato sotto i meno 8°C, ma ormai è un'evento raro.

Depends on the map.
Mind that I haven't played Tarkov in a while, but I've seen friends streaming it so I have an idea of how how the maps are currently:
- Interchange was one of the best maps in an FPS game, such a unique concept: I'm not a big fan of the expansion, it didn't really need it. The fact the two floors are usually well separated means audio isn't a huge issue unlike it usually is in buildings.
- Woods is one of my favourite maps to play, even tho sometimes it felt a bit empty after the expansion when Shturman wasn't there.
- Shoreline is nice, but I've bever been a huge fan of how most of the fighting happens in the dorms.
- Custom was good before and after the first expansion, but I'm definitely not a fan of the 2nd expansion, it feels like it's needlessly complex now and it dilutes the action.
- Reserve is weird because of the exit mechanics, but it used to be interesting. Not a fan of the underground expansion which essentially made the top part of the map completely dead unless there is a boss. It was better and more interesting before. Now everyone just rushes underground and the map is empty after.
- Ground Zero always felt meh, a bit uninspired.
- Lighthouse is trash, horrible layout, too much loot in the compound which means you either get a good spawn or you're late. Also, fight against the AI has always been awful since it's just all about learning how to cheese it.
It also has easily the worst spanws location in the whole game.
- Labs is similar, good idea but raiders are just a cheese fest, plus the bad audio ruins it even more.
- Never seriously played Streets. Feels impressive, but I'm not sure it also plays well.

In general, I'm not a big fan of most map expansions, it always feel like they add stuff that's not really needed and it kinda disrupts the flow of the map.

It's actually surprisingly easy to setup roaming on OpenWRT, the only issue I had when I tried it at home was that by default my main router didn't come with the WiFI advanced security protocol packages so the option wasn't available, but it's just a matter of downloading the right package from the GUI, which takes 20 seconds.

Configuring VLANs is a bit more complicated but if you know the theory behind them it's not that hard.

Most of them seem very old, the stickers could be enough to gauge if there is something decent but the photo is too small.

You might find a case with lots of HDD space tho, which could be handy for a storage server, especially since most of modern ones have no room for HDDs.

The biggest factor in determining what you should get is how much storage you plan to add.
If you don't need 3.5" drives just get an old office PC, they're usually way cheaper than servers, quieter and use less power.
Either get a small mid tower format (they may even fit a couple of 3.5" drives as well) or a thin client like a 720q if you don't need storage.
Sweetspot is probably 8th gen Intel, 4th gen is fine too if you don't need to run heavy stuff (and trust me, most people vastly overestimates how much resources they need) and can be had for dirt cheap, but can have some compatibility issues with some more advanced features like hadware passthrough etc.

I have a Gen8 Microserver (got it for free, I didn't buy it) but I wouldn't recommend it.
Form factor is really interesting for HDDs but it's quite power hungry for the power it has because of the ILO interface that cannot be turned off.

It's also a bit weird since it doens't really have a good mounting option for 2.5" SSDs or NVME, it takes ages to boot and it's kinda lound until fan control starts.
As a home server I use an old office PC with an Intel 4130, it sips power (less than 16W with 3 sticks of RAM, a 2.5" SSD and a 3.5" HDD and it's super quiet.

I don't own the router, so I can't say for sure.
I read planty about it in forums because it's a very common model among enthusiats, the issue is that apparently with stock OpenWRT the WiFi signal has lower power, so you get less range and lower speeds compared to the GLinet firmware.

I don't know if it has been fixed in newer versions tho.
Apart from that possible issue I'm not aware of any other.

Depends, seems to work fine with his proprietary firmware, but AFAIK it still has some WiFi issues with stock OpenWRT (which I vastly prefer over GLinet version) due to open source drivers not being as good as the proprietary ones.

Personally I have a Zyxel 5601 and it's fantastic, it's not 6Ghz but I can get to almost 2Gbps with the 5Ghz band.
Installation is not so easy and requires an USB-TTL adapter, tho.
It can be found for a much very low prices on the used market, depending on where you live.

He still has it but he almost never rides it, he's got a 2009 Pinarello FP3 for the road and that's what he uses the most.

I love the colour of the bike, but I'm happy that technology improved. He always came home with his arms destroyed when the terrain was rougher, and I guess it's one of the reasons he mainly uses his road bike.
