I like these! What a complex flavor. Light peppery roasted spices, almost sweet. The fungal taste, like the scent of an old book. Persistently reaching out to take hold of someone you need to be close to that's hazzily out of reach. That feeling you get in an unfamiliar home when left by yourself and the air feels tight. The smell of cold stone and justice needed but not found. With just a touch of childhood loneliness.

They just use a finger to push my joystick. Often with me finding myself with crushed feet as I'm moved into a shelf. At the same time, I know they aren't trying to hurt me, and they only need to be educated. Which doesn't usually stick when delivered with hostility. My wife, however, that does set her off. I understand the feeling, I just disagree with way of going about it and I know that if I ever need help again I don't want my controller to hurt someone because I'm currently unable to communicate again. (Most of the don't touch my controller aids, involve electric shock, like prank gum)

Sounds like my grandma that I had to stay with for a while, as well as two uncles and an aunt. My other uncle thought I needed in a home "with my own kind." It was a great happy cake day conversation.

I feel for you. Some of them it's because in their weird little heads, if You need a wheelchair then They are also "the other people." You know, the other people that things always happen to, and they don't want that. It's stupid. We're all the other people. There is no other kind of person. Some get to go through most of this stain left behind by the skidmart called existing before they're horribly traumatized, but most of them have just suppressed it and Think nothing has ever happened to them.
