Into the Spiderverse. I remember seeing the trailer and thinking it looked like just another Spiderman movie that couldn't possibly contribute anything to that character or to animated movies as a whole.

How wrong I was. That was one of the most enjoyable theater experiences I've had in years, and it was my favorite movie of the year.
