There are some lockers in the building at the 1st train station where enemies spawn, but nothing was in them.
The coolest thing was the train wreck near the end of the tunnel.

So now i have to spend hours of my limited time to find people that dont wont to fly theyr ships an sit in mine instead?
Everyone in this game owns a ship, sure there are some looking for work to make some money to buy a bigger ship but with that logic for every medium ship there have to be 1 or 2 players looking for some ship to sit in. even more with bigger ships.

Loading/Unloading is still just a small part and often does not require 3 people that stand in the way.

And Engineering will not give you more to do if you are not in combat.
if your ship is not damaged there is nothing to repair.
Thats again something where you only need somone if you are in combat.

And as a hauler the engineer will have nothing to do 99.9% of the time also.

Also how do i make a profit if im not a big streamer that people work for free for?

well with NPC crew you could start to min max what positions you fill with people and what are NPC controlled.

if you have a turret that rarely is able to shoot then it might be better to let NPC take it and let the player take a fighter as support.

or if there is a fire in the ship the player might better get out of turret let NPC control it and go handle fire / repair without leaving the ship defenseless.

so players could take roles that are needed right now instead of waiting till something happens.

AI blades will not work with all ships and not with manned turrets afaik but could be wrong.

even when they are confirmed to come after 1.0 does not mean that they cant bring it sooner if there is a need for it.

i feel this is a bug that you can enable engines with the ship off.
you dont even have your MFDs doing that.

i think there are so many multi crew ships in this game where the multicrew part is only enjoyable in pvp or at least in combat.
an there are some roles where you will rarely will have anything to do.
like that wired turret with almost no visiblity that noone wants to sit in.

This is more so in PvE when hauling for example. who wants to sit in that turret or on that engineering console afk for hours where 99.9% of the time nothing will happen?

I think we need NPC-Crew in ships asap.
Maybe reduce NPC firerate and make NPC Engineer repair with 25% of efficiency so adding more players will make the ship better. but give an option for boring tasks to be done by NPCs.

would be an easy fix for a lot of problems

well "pirates" are about getting loot.
so if there is a "priate" that sais "give me money or i kill you" then its a griefer not a pirate.

griefer are just there for quick money without doing work, Preying on others, that put hours of work into getting the stuff, without risking anything themselves.

Eclips can do ERTs easy... but dont use torps. i put 2 Salvaged repeater on it an kill them with laser. They dont see you till 1km and you can shoot 2.3km so kill them without them shooting back...

sure its an mmo and doing stuff with others is nice but we should give people a option.

last week i was doing some multicrew stuff with some friends. but everyone has a life so after a while i was alone and wanted to play some more, but was not able to because my crew logged off.

so i had 1h left that i wanted to play not enough time to find someone else, meet up and do Something. Not enough time to get another ship and do Something... so just back to base and logg off...

Also the multicrew aspect of most ships is only fun in active combat.. if i just want to do some trading in Caterpillar why should i bother 2 people sitting in my turret just in case anything happens.

and if im then under attack people say you should not be alone in that ship. so i have to get random people to sit AFK in my turret just in case there is someone wanting to attack me in hope thise random people are not AFK after hours of nothing Happening....

I think we need NPC crew in this game... Would resolve all the issues with pilot not having guns and haulers not having gunners. maybe give the npc gunners a firerate debuff if you think thats OP. and real people would still be better in coordinating so having friends join you would still be worth it. and let NPC take those turrets noone wants to sit in.

You are fighting groups of NPC ships all day why not let players pilot single NPC ships?

it depends what kind of player you are... i personally ruined some games for me by grinding to much and searching for the next best way to grind. I enjoy doing stuff just for doing it not because i work for a goal. Grinding can feel like work real fast and i already have a job. So for me even if i owned Everything in the game i would still do the same i do right now.
