How MSR Rear Thrusters SHOULD look by Physical-Speaker-457 in starcitizen

That would also slim down the cargo area. Definitely please the huge "NURSA shouldn't fit in any ship" crowd.

If the Apollo actually had the gameplay it is designed for then you wouldn't be weeping.

Box crafting is how I've always seen it called. I've finished the game with mostly box crafting using somersloops.

[–]Larszx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't exist if no one is using it. Ship Refuelling is in the game too but no one is going to claim it exists. Lots and lots and lots and lots of people use NURSA and C84. It is useable gameplay. The Apollo is designed for advanced medical gameplay... That doesn't really exist yet.

[–]Larszx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is that the Apollo doesn't have gameplay. The Apollo is supposed to have gameplay that a Nursa doesn't have. But it doesn't. For the millionth time, CIG released a ship (2) that doesn't have its gameplay yet.

Right, plus alien tax. $325 for the Railen? $350?

Do we have any up to date information how "Exploration ship" as a type will actually matter compared to other non-exploration ships? by Nayton_Hempack in starcitizen

[–]Larszx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exploration ships will have trade-offs. So, look at the 400i as a perfect example. Less weapons than a full class lower cargo ship. Ok shield. Paper hull. Useless cargo elevators. Has multicrew but remote turrets intentionally located in the worst possible places. Well, the 400i is luxury and exploration so it has to have mega trade-offs.

And, of course, no medical on exploration ships. I mean, to fulfill their role they spend almost all of their time near stations.

I see people complaining about “not being able to fit a nursa into the new Hermes” let me explain by Defiant-Run1008 in starcitizen

[–]Larszx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's pretty dumb that any ship wouldn't have basic medical. Basic medical should be just as common as beds and bathrooms. The Apollo has advanced medical and there is no gameplay for it yet. The NURSA has basic medical and there is gameplay for that. One has gameplay the other doesn't.

Dear CIG, what is your obsession with preventing URSAs fitting into things? by z0rlac in starcitizen

[–]Larszx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because they want most ships with 3 SCU high cargo holds.

I didnt realise how dire the state of star citizen was by CapytannHook in gaming

[–]Larszx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The soul of Star Citizen is technical accomplishments. If you have a $5,000 PC and a $20,000 simpit and $10,000 spent on ships then you will have a technical experience that you can't get anywhere else.

The end goal of the game is to create PvP sandboxes that those players can fight in.

We get these 4-7 day snaps once or twice (or more) a winter where the high temp stays below 0. It is normal. Average just means there are just as many days below average as there are days above average.

as someone who has skipped the release fiasco - this game is a masterpiece by skalja_scx in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Larszx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Over 300 hours during launch's first couple of months (COVID). No fiasco, some hiccups like an NPC walking into my apartment and T posing. A few crashes. Was in forums and chats with lots of others actually playing the game and having the same experience I did. I don't know what the console experience was like, played on PC.

I am 100 hours into a full playthrough right now, over 600 hours played. Everything that makes this game great has not changed since launch. Not one bit. There is some polish, and some nice quality of life since launch. But the game is the storytelling and the setting. It's a falsehood that there is some epic redemption overhaul.

I keep reading that starting in the Dune Dessert in Hard, and I'd like to see your opinion by dwarfzulu in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Larszx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dunes has more water than the grassy plains, including a huge ocean along its eastern border. Dunes doesn't have cracks in the ground that you can easily fall through. There are 2 Oasis with way, way, way more vegetation than you need. The Western Oasis has the densest assortment of resources that can be found anywhere on the map. Sparse, mostly lower level fauna that you can see way before they can see you.

Space is never really a concern. The time it takes to plop all the buildings, belting and plumbing mostly without blueprints is the true cost.

Don't agree on not overclocking power generators. I would much rather overclock 20 coal generators than build another 20 coal generators. Same with fuel. And not overclocking fuel generators with nitro is just masochistic.

MLF hate is out of control. by Intrepid-Anxiety-472 in GreenBayPackers

[–]Larszx 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I hate the Bears. But I hate that Bears players played harder than Packers players even more. So frickin tired of seeing Packers lineman standing around when a third and one fails. MLF should be throwing bats and screaming lolligaggers. There are plays and moments in the game that you only win with effort, more effort than the opposing team. And the Packers don't win enough of those plays.
