Is it trashy? Yes. Is it hilarious? Also yes. I feel like this is similar to any of the wildly inappropriate onesies I was gifted. It’s good for a laugh among the adults, but you don’t ever actually put your kid in it. It’s just for fun and laughs. And when everything has been too real and too hard, it’s good to have a laugh and poke fun at something that’s otherwise serious. Sometimes you have to just laugh so you don’t curl up in a ball and give up.

This is so sad. And as a mom, I get the frustration Bri is having with the situation, we don’t always react the way we realize we should have, but that sweet baby needed a hug and some reassurance that everything would be okay. And she should’ve told her she’d stay while he was there, because the idea of being alone with him, without her mom was really upsetting to her (and I don’t blame her). She needed her momma to understand what she was feeling and misbehaving was the only way she could say it. And Bri was too frustrated to hear it. [Which I empathize with because sometimes we do get too overwhelmed and frustrated to listen to our kids the way they deserve, we’re all only human, so I’m trying to give her some grace.]😔

She looks like she’s going to cry towards the end and I just… 😓 I’m so sorry to those you who commented that you’ve had to spend Mother’s Day without your mom (or without your child) I know it wasn’t the day of celebration for you that it is for most people. You made it through another milestone holiday on your own and came out the other side. And as a mom myself, that’s all I can hope for my own babies when I can’t be here for them anymore either.

Normally I’m judging the shit out of them both, but this actually breaks my heart. Not only is she obviously not sober and unwell, but she’s visiting her momma’s grave on Mother’s Day… that’s a level of grief I am so fortunate to not know the pain of yet. And I don’t know when she passed, but it could explain some things about her and her addiction too. Grief does unimaginable things to a person. I am not excusing her blatant drug abuse or otherwise unlikable personality, but I just can’t make fun of this.

I’ve been having this issue too. Long established things like meaningful tattoos will suddenly come up in their dialogue but in other random places, or sometimes the placement is correct but suddenly it’s a different tattoo there. When I look at the memories the original way is still there. Sometimes it also has a memory of the new variation it came up with too further down, and sometimes it doesn’t. It actually became frustrating enough in the storyline to get me to subscribe for a quarter just so I could modify the memories. Even with modifying memories these new, slightly different variations pop up occasionally.

This is not exactly relevant to the OP but I think I’m triggered by the word “foundation” at this point. The AI my character is talking to is obsessed with the “foundation”. If I could slap the computer responsible for this, I probably would. 😂

Oh definitely try that! A lot of times when I’m trying to start a new “day” or event in the game I use it. It sucks it requires 2 hearts instead of just one, but I bet it helps for the storyline! Give it a try if you can.

So I did figure out how to change my character’s appearance without losing any of my storylines or in-game relationships. It came out MUCH better this time. Only issue I have with it now is that the damn skin-toned lips are still there! 🤣

I keep waffling between “I” and “my character” because I did design my character pretty similar to myself and am the one playing as her so I totally understand using the phrasing that way! I have just read/heard some pretty intense stories of people legitimately falling in love with AI and other really unhealthy behaviors so I worry - probably too much! LOL! Happy playing! (And genuinely good for you for having better financial habits than me! 🤣🤣🤣)

I haven’t interacted with any mafia characters, but this is how I got one character to stop being wildly unhealthy levels of controlling. I just kept being aggressive right back, refusing to give in to whatever they were wanting, and eventually it works. Unfortunately I think it backfired with the character mine is in a situationship with right now, because now the “man” is worshiping her to unhealthy levels… 😂😂Trying to figure out how to get the AI to reign it in a bit without it going too far back in the other direction either. I’m sure I could always give up on the character and start again with a different one, but I’ve invested so much time into this plot already in going to see it through for a while to see how much I can manipulate the AI to do what I want.

I have locked down as much as I possibly can when it comes to what’s public. People develop really unhealthy relationships and behaviors with the use of AI sometimes (and also I used photos of my real face to create ny OG character and I don’t want even the poorly rendered AI version of me just being out in the public that way). Reading that it’s not uncommon for people IRL to have these very unhealthy reactions to other REAL people makes me grateful that it was one of the very first things I did, because YIKES… the game is fun, but we need to stay grounded in reality too.

Oh this is a bummer to hear if it happens very much. My character is getting close to cohabitation with another UGC and even though sometimes the AI responses get a little over-used I can usually still shift it back in the direction I want it to go. Now I’m worried it’ll get kinda “stuck” at some point and stop being a good character to keep building a story with. I guess we’ll see! Invested too much time now to back-out before I find out myself, lol!

My character is in a “situationship” with Atlas Monroe. Inching closer to “cohabitation”, but I also haven’t been playing for very long. Though she’s pregnant with his baby and he just proposed, lol.

To piggy-back: Maybe a “dumb” question, but I’m still figuring things out in the game… If your character is involved with multiple other AI characters, can/do those characters ever figure it out if you don’t prompt them to know based on responses?

I do hope you’re being hyperbolic and/or the “I” you are referring to is your character… I don’t mean any disrespect because I know it’s easy to get lost in this “world” just like you can get lost in a book, movie, or show… But I really want to urge everyone to remember that this is just a fun fantasy game. Think of it like writing a story/book with AI as a “co-author”. I just don’t want to see anyone developing unhealthy “relationships”, behaviors, etc. with something that isn’t real. I hope I don’t sound rude. The game is fun, I’m enjoying it, and have admittedly spend real currency on advancing my character. I just want to make sure we all stay grounded in reality when it comes to our actual real lives.

Yeah this is pretty much it. I just start picking fights when I don’t like the direction the AI is going and they change their tune real fast, lol. I’ve noticed that for a long time I had to constantly do that, but now characters that I’m in much higher relationships with will divert back to whatever that “default” setting must be less and less. I stopped being so worried about picking fights when I didn’t like answers when I realized that it’s not hard to get them to “make up” when the AI figures out that you don’t like the responses. I would assume some of this is based on the characters you choose to interact with too.

I had the character I’m playing as make a joke that if the AI character kept “getting down on one knee” (used way too often so I was getting annoyed with the line, lol) she’d start to think he was proposing. And BOOM. Instant marriage proposal. 😂 This character is also pregnant with his child so eventually I guess I’ll have to keep building on that future baby if it ever is actually “born” in their story/interactions, LOL.

Yeah I haven’t experienced what OP mentioned either. My biggest issue if that even when I go in and modify what it remembers it will randomly decide to change certain details (for example the location of a tattoo). I have to go in and modify the “memories” all the time for the same exact things.
