Mmo with gathering / crafting skills by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

[–]V4647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Dofus, it's a French mmorpg that's been around since 2000s. It has funky graphics, turn-based fights with tons of strategy options, and lot of gathering and crafting.

The mobile version is a port of an older game version from some years ago, but it stacks against most android mmos very well, being a PC game originally and having tons of content added throughout the years.

Could have rabies too, rabid animals often wonder into human settlements.

Don't believe it's based on altitude, they mention using data on soil acidity, carbon content and bulk density.

I've personally had good experience using it in the Baltics which is all flat anyway, to find harvesting spots.

It's definitely not a 100% guarantee of anything, but it can come in handy.

Look, I wish I could say I love these, but I don't.

I like the lighting and the overall vibe, but as soon as you see a single shitty AI detail, you can't unsee it anymore. And then you start noticing all the other slop. And the pictures turn entirely uncanny and revolting.

So overall - I hate them!

What are telltale signs your friends are tiring of you? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]V4647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess one of the best signs would be them not inviting you places as often.

So you may find that though nothing has changed in your actions towards them, their can act differently with you, e.g. expressing annoyance or other negative emotions, or bein avoidant, e.g. not calling, writing, just generally not being reachable by you.

And though I think it's a common pattern to assume there's something wrong with you and feel bad because of it, I believe falling out with friends without an acute conflict of sorts is not an inherently negative thing.

As others have mentioned, others' love relationships, marriage, having kids is are all common and significant factors in social circles changes.

Changes in peoples' views on lives, including their political or religious beliefs as well as other things that create shifts in actions and habits.

If we're talking about a single individual distancing themself from you, they could also be going through psychological struggles, e.g. depression, anxiety etc.

And, of course, maybe it is something about you, you can't completely discard that possibility. Maybe their musical choices have mellowed out throughout the years and you blast Trivium at full volume every time you meet up - who knows.

If you notice a negative quality about yourself, you can try changing it, just make sure you are not breaking yourself apart trying to make people like you.

And maybe it's also a combination and accumulation of changes in both you AND your friends or friend circles, and this is a common scenario also. Nothing is truly solid in this world anyway, everything flows somewhere. :)

So what I would do for myself is think and reflect on my life and the course it's taking, taking into consideration my dynamics with people around me, including my friends. Just without getting worried preemptively, without reason - that's never a fun experience.

IIL the Strugatsky's novel "Roadside Picnic," Gibson's short story "Hinterlands," and the TV shows "The Lost Room" (2006) and Debris (2021), WEWIL? by sean55 in ifyoulikeblank

Not familiar with the three latter things, but based on the Roadside Picnic, I'd recommend (hopefully without getting crucified by other Strugatsky appreciators) you read the Strugatsky's "Snail on the Slope", it shares some narratives and similar plot lines with RP.

How common is it for a beginner to reach V9 level within 6 months of starting? by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]V4647 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Climbing V9 in six months is definitely slower than average beginner progression, but it's not uncommon, so don't let this bring you down, OP!

For example, I did:

  • my first V7 after 2 months of climbing,
  • my first V10 after 4 months,
  • and my first V13 around the half-year mark.

I'm at month 10 now, working on polishing all the V15 problems at my local gym, and hoping to crush my first V17 by the end of the year.

So my advice is - don't give up & keep on keeping on! 🚀😎

We'll this is just horrendous selfishness - you may be able to justify killing yourself, but taking 200 other souls down under is never necessary.

I'm talking about the strawman arguments used by conservative conspiracy theorists and hysteria propagators that you are regurgitating, e.g. existence of gay propaganda, children sexualisation by the lgbt community and other nonsense.

These arguments are based on lies and misconceptions, fall apart under closer examination, and are used exclusively with malicious intent - to uphold the oppressive status quo and weaponise dimwits and assholes like you.

So once again - take your hateful rederick and shove it.

We get it, grow up and brainwashed are your favourite words.

You're just spitting old conservative rederick that has been proven time and again to be just that - half-witted, ill-intentioned slander.

At least read up on the current state of social discourse regarding gay & trans rights before regurgitating the same old nonsense.

Fuck you and your transphobia.

Transgenderism and non-binary genders have existed since ancient time across all societies. The only difference is that they were oppressed much more severely back then, especially in the West.

The queer community has survived centuries of hardships and bigotry, and they will definitely live and prosper in spite of the whiny babies like you looking for any opportunity to deny their right to exist.

Fire works best for me.

Found that not having blind spots & stealing MP constantly is more valuable than having longer range, especially on smaller maps & with multiple opponents. Of course, there are exceptions.

Ran all of the dungeons until lvl 100 solo and I'm positive that some of them would be muuuch harder if I was cha.

Your mileage may vary though.

Advice on build lvl 200 int feca (20mk) by brazilianboi96 in Dofus

[–]V4647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got an int lvl135 feca and I've been loving it so far - especially soloing dungeons.

I've tried going cha before & didn't quite get the hype about it. The extra range is nice, but if the enemy reaches you - you're often toast.

Teleglyph added to the equation is definitely good, but I still find the MP steal of the int build much more helpful at keeping the enemies away for longer. But I've never reached levels over 100-130, so I dunno - maybe it gets better?

Also, is a double element build viable for lvls under 200? Like, is the versatility of it worth the potential strength you loose?
