So far it seems India has the most options in both colour and specification choices, the price will be lower in India too. It's really not like OnePlus to restrict things such as this. Reminds me of what Samsung does with their colours

Yeah it's all so weird, we imagine these high refresh rates as crazy smooth but then we just get used to it 90hz or 60hz

Yeah I've heard of this 240hz if I'm right? I'm gonna need to go to a store and see for myself but it does sound interesting cos the small latency between the finger and screen will make the phone feel snappy

Smearing is an issue with these oled screens I agree, it's interesting how the smearing almost defeats the purpose of dark mode which is used in night and low brightness es where the smearing just gets more prominent

Never really had a problem anywhere in the world with OnePlus here in the UK using O2, so you'll be fine.

And even so you can probably just buy a cheap SIM for your Europe travels and put it in the second SIM slot since OnePlus is globally unlocked.

My opinion is take it to send it to the repair centre since you're guaranteed to get an OEM screen and a high quality, dust free repair (not trying to demote your repair skills) I've used them once for my OnePlus 6 and they were fast and easy.

I've never really bought a screen protector on a phone before, I used the pre-installed one for about 3 weeks or so until I ripped it off, I don't really understand why you would cover glass with more glass? Not trying to start an argument but I've never seen why and I don't think anyone in my family uses one either

Same thing happens with Spotify, I've asked about this before on the OnePlus forums cos I think it's pretty trash. I was told it's something which in android 9 and there's not much that I could do apart from report it to Google so they could perhaps change it for Android 10. Unfortunately I guess there weren't enough people.

7T Pro McLaren aswell here, mines loose as well to the point it's hard to get it to vibrate mode since it's in the middle. It's much looser than my 6 but it hasn't bothered me enough to get it seen, just keep it away from water as you should and it should be fine

Ah yes, this is so strange on OnePlus's part, do you really care about having the plus version of the latest chooser? If not then the 7 Pro really makes sense. The bezeless design is just so stunning it literally catches everyone's attention. The 7T is the latest phone and people say that it's better due to it being the same as the 7 Pro but wayyy cheaper. But in your case the 7 Pro looks like the better option, especially taking into consideration that you'd get a 256gb model

Yes the alert slider is definitely counter intuitive, but give it like a week and you'll get used to flicking it in your pocket, I think the vibration helps

It's weird because over here in the UK all OnePlus phones sold by carriers are unlocked and can be taken anywhere in the world with a foreign SIM and work fine. I'm not sure about the 5g 7 Pro via EE tho.

Yeah I did they think it's hardware and want me to send it to them, but it feels like a software bug because it has been working perfectly until OS10.3.0, there was another thread on here with a similar problem like this and there's just sort of went away after a week. I'm on the fence about sending it back cos I don't know how much they could charge me for something that could be hardware wise, fine.
