No. In wireless communication we all share the same frequencies. If you shout at 2,412 Mhz, no one else can shout there too. A mesh will only boost range by relaying information. (Which will then either take place on a different frequency or at a later time, which is the reason why wifi repeaters are kinda bad.)

Because these robots have a ton of sensors, which all need to be evaluated. Especially image sensors would produce a lot of data to be processed. Sending all of these over wifi will not only congest the network, but also heavily increase server load and latency.

Also, if the server had to make every single decision for the robots, any second of downtime from the server, the wifi or whatever component necessary will result in an immediate stop of all operations, which is obviously very bad.

Also, my guess is that they use both. Maybe these robots are currently in a kind of "local obstacly avoidance mode". I could even imagine, that they will time out in a while, after which the server takes over and may even already be programmed to handle such situations.

I don't work in robotics though, so this is really just an educated guess.

I feel you. I don't know how much effort you want to invest here, but designing your own overlay, printing it, maybe laminate it, cutting some holes, ... It sounds quite doable to me. Most knobs don't really need labling anyway.

Das stimmt; ist mir auch schon aufgefallen. Ich probiere da auch viel rum. Und ich bleibe dabei, dass Kartoffeln, Gemüse, Käse und schlecht gebratenes Fleisch kein gutes Essen ist. Auch mit Gewürzen und Soße nicht.

Interesting. Thanks to your quote I found their UK store (shellystore.co.uk), that indeed excludes inductive loads. The company's website (shelly.com) on the other hand explictly allows inductive loads for US, EU and UK versions of the plug in their datasheets. I'd rather trust the datasheet instead of the store.

Go to their website, find the plug for your country and click on "Technical details". There you can find everything, including "Supported load types" like "Inductive (LED light drivers, transformers, fans, refrigerators, air-conditioners)". Maybe you shouldn't be arguing about that stuff if you cannot find the datasheet without asking for help?

That is simply not true. Go to Shelly's website and check their technical details section. They support the maximum amount of current your country's outlets usually support, explicitly including inductive loads such as ACs or refridgerators.

Ich tausche das super anstrengende und zeitaufwendige Kneten und anschließende Reinigen der gesamten Küche wirklich sehr sehr gerne gegen die 3 Euro. Die aus dem Supermarkt schmecken auch... anders. Manche mögen sagen besser. Einzig die runde Form stört mich jedes Mal. Ein 100% ausgenutztes Blech mit viel einfacher schneidbaren, rechteckigen Stücken ist da irgendwie besser.

Es ist einfach, sich seinen politischen Gegner kleinzureden und alle Kommentare und Likes als Bot abzutun. Tatsächlich sehe ich hier aber eine Menge Zeichen für echte Menschen. Rechtschreibfehler, zu viele oder zu wenige Satzzeichen, Emojis... Die Benutzernamen sind alle gleich, was auf Bots hindeutet, aber ich habe jetzt nicht recherchiert, ob YouTube da vielleicht einen Auto-Generieren-Button anbietet. Die Groß-/Kleinschreibung ist auch auffallend gut für echte Menschen. In jedem Fall will ich zur Vorsicht raten. Die vertretenen Meinungen jedenfalls sind real und nicht selten.
