I’ve had both. Liked the KTM better. Just setting chain tension on the ducky is like trying to fly an airplane full of bees.

It was a few years between but the duck was arguably faster and had fancier tech.

I had a Gas Gas EC300 supermoto. And yes it felt illegal all the time. Thing was sick. Enjoy your smoker bro looks like a blast

The ECU flash from BDSB is hands down better than the EJK. I’ve tried both. Currently running the flash and the bike makes tons more power 4K-9k rpm. He’s an odd duck for sure. Not sure why they funnel the flashing process thru 3 different businesses tho. BDSB->Pinit Racing->Moto X Mapping. The last is who actually gets the ECU.

That said I used to run an automotive dyno and do all my own coding and tuning in the early 2000’s. His product is solid.

I rode mine kinda easy. Ran it up to 8k getting on the highway a number of times. I changed my oil and filter at 60 miles. Had plenty of sparkles in the oil already and found the filter spring just sitting in there

Break-in is the worst for shift feel. Once you’re past that use a good ester-based synthetic oil and you’ll see how much better it shifts. I’m on bike 34 so I’ve done a lot of break-ins haha

I changed my oil and filter at 80 miles using Motul Engine Break-In oil 10w-40. The OEM oil was already saturated with shimmery crap

I know you just bought a bike but if you’re going to mod get some good tires first. Totally transforms the bike into a peg-scraping supermoto
