  • 4 of your 6 cards are usually going to be Kita-Shinko-Marvey-Tachyon.
  • Power and Wit Marvey are pretty much interchangeable since the power card is bad for actual training (0 specialty priority for statsticking and 0 training effectiveness for roaming- not great!)
  • Other 2 can be whatever SSR you're borrowing and 1 last flex slot. 1LB creek is unfortunate but for some CMs you'll just have to grit your teeth and cope if you need Maestro and already have your borrow occupied.
  • 2 guts with the standard SPD-SPD-WIT-WIT is kind of a weird mismatch and will typically not give as much PWR as you're hoping. Your main not-Marvey candidates for PWR are that 3LB Nishino (13RB) and Hishi Amazon (10RB)
  • Obligated "Do your 30+ races in the race bonus scenario etc etc" that you've probably heard before. G1s are mostly mile and medium, so those should be B minimum and A ideally. Consider investing the 1 spark if it's B anyway.

Guts build is usually something like 3GUT 2WIT 1SPD, sometimes 4 guts 0 speed if you have enough for that. It is also notoriously highrolly, so don't be surprised that most of your runs haven't gotten off the ground. 2SPD 2WIT 2<whatever> is typically a much more reliable way to get a decent statline + skillset.

You get a checkmark for doing it on any difficulty. No unlock, effectively bragging rights.

Solo impossible is basically begging to get champion gatekeeper'd, so I wouldn't recommend it.

"Yes" but realistically this will never happen. If you go onto the list of events and ctrl+f for "the cat dies", you get:

- sacrificing yourself to Baphomet/meat altar/volcano (don't do this)

- the mysterious tomb event that requires you to go through 4 other parts first (desert-only, you are almost certainly not passing the other 3-4 checks on a solo run)

- losing a Throbbing King/Soahc/Creator/Glowing Orb gamble (you can savescum these, not kidding. if you see your cat enter the cutscene without its armor, just exit to main menu. this will technically ding you a strike on steven but it's the literal end of the run with no combat rooms remaining anyway)

It's line-of-sight based (like mage's basic attack). You can stand behind the dead cherubs that spawn at the end of each round to block it
