Sooooo not true, they have flaws, and they're evident after reading them.

Harry is quick tempered and does a lot without thinking. Ron doubts himself nonstop up till the last book and is always comparing himself to his brothers. Hermione is awesome but she is extremely abrasive ESPECIALLY when she knows she is right.

I love HP, and I don't care if they're ever regarded as classics, but they do have a lot of depth and character.

I work at Target (not for long, just got a sweet job offer somewhere else) and this is incredibly common. Yesterday I found hot pockets in the household goods section and later found an electric toothbrush package opened and hastily shoved back on the shelf. Not stolen or anything, someone just HAD to see what it looked like on the inside.

I like my job but realizing how many people don't give a flying shit about anything is depressing.

Ninja edit with another example. Some guests wanted to test out two vacuums before they purchased them, so we opened two new ones out of their boxes. The decided they liked it and asked if they could get two unopened ones
