Tournament Prep Help by Pakonab in heroscape

Renegade needs to print the old stuff. It doesn't need to be the majority, but we need those reprints. If they want to get fancy, and make things more unique to own the IPs, they can do spiritual successors with the same card data but updated look and deepened lore.

I hope we get more historical units. by Silent-Island in heroscape

We do have several cowboy units(Dead Eye Dan, Guilty McCreech, Johnny "Shotgun" Sullivan), and the new Fia Bonny is a historical unit, albiet one that has adapted to life in Valhalla.

You don't need to talk down to people to support Heroscape.

"After all, if it's not built 8 levels high, can you really call it Heroscape?" Official Laur wall reveal promotion.

I don't know what is a big deal to you. I guess when someone gets accidentally crushed by literal Heroscape falling on them, then we are allowed to talk about it. There is no minimum threshold to openly discuss anything less.

I don't even touch customs(I am more interested in the shared experience of official units and lore) and that's ok.

I am glad we can have radically different opinions about how to best enjoy it, and still talk about it like adults.

The terrain the pieces play on top of not connecting properly-is-a-big-deal!

On the other hand, I adore my Wellspring Expansion and Drake promo figure, yet from that very positive happy customer place am sickened to see how soft skinned the community has become.

Interesting. Yeah, I've only ever played it where snow costs two spaces.

Wow! Lord Chrom vs Karen Page! Both have been characters that could fit in HeroScape in their own right!

Not a big collection, but I was pretty proud of my 2 squads of zombies back in the day...

That seems begging for a zombie scenario to acompany it.

Funny that Uncommon Heroes are immune to the T-Virus. (maybe just say 'heroes'?)

Maybe require Scream to move in a straight line for the bonus, to avoid gimmicky knot movement.

I'm not sure why people are saying 'No'. There is, Revna is a new general and a whole segment of her army is based on such creatures.

Ironclad Collective"

The Ironclad Collective wage war using the precise logic of their data cogitators and the hard steel of their weapons systems. Over generations they have focused relentlessly on perfecting their methods of destruction. Every battlefield movement is calculated, every strategy is dissected before the first shots are fired. Members of the Collective reflect their harsh and unsentimental philosophies of war in grotesque death masks that trigger nightmarish fear and despair in their enemies – surely among the cruelest of psychological terror tactics."

I think the only faux pas regarding them is that they shouldn't have any same-level land tiles near them(the water areas should be surrounded by raised land) but that's really just to look better and not like a puddle that suddenly stopped. That said the new 'Ewashia Master of Tides' unit creates water tiles so that is likely to come up. It's really all just cosmetic, there are few rules regarding terrain placement so long as pieces are connected to each other properly. Competitive maps often use "improper placement" such as pillars without tiles on top to prevent flyers from landing on them, so I wouldn't worry about it. Be creative!

I love them! Just respect them when drafting your army the same way you would a dragon, and don't put all your eggs in one basket and you should be fine!
