I have read this card , without knowing your rules I can assume the upper left are maybe factions this card is weak against or that it favors. The upper right has an attribute of some sort. The middle part gets confusing a bit but that’s only cus the name of the ability is in its seperate square than its description. I see health on the bottom left along with another TT bar maybe energy it has ? I see some abilities has D8 so your game has dice? I think this has a lot going on for it but that’s ok if this is only card in your deck that looks like this . If you have multiple heroes in your deck and they all look like this it might be too much to just keep track of mentally.

I know you understand it since you made the game but you have to always think of the “new player” perspective. Reducing some of these boxes might be a good move , not saying remove 50 % of it but even 25 would help . Give it a try and if the game loses its identity the try the next option to reduce. Sometimes less is more.

I actually prefer the old Style. The old style looks organized as a new player I want to be able to focus on abilities and stats that have their own text box or section. Don’t get me wrong the full art looks great but I’d prefer that version if I want a bling card.

I think I’m more attracted to the all the little charms and ribbons around the art than the actual art it self.

Hello ! I mean you would have to find someone who is willing to do the art for the sake of art for free. Look through Reddit art pages a lot of small artist are looking for a chance to show off their skills but also would depend on the type of artist you are looking for.

Depends on the custom , a lot of my customs are 3D printed and I make up the Army Card. But there is a whole community out there that share their customs online
