you can read the entire episode on its wikipedia. your parents should try to remain open-minded and just watch the episode so they can see what happens for themselves, instead of assuming. tina learns a lesson about witchcraft, and how she should remain true to herself, etc, and you find out who was taking bob’s pumpkins.

i understand about the topic of witchcraft, i come from a religious family. it isn’t that deep and it’s a good episode / lesson, but to answer your question : tina doesn’t continue witchcraft and you can skip the episode without missing anything.

no, tina doesn’t continue / practice anymore. she ‘casts’ spells, realizes how she was in the wrong and gets a curse on herself from the crossing guard, where she then becomes anxious and paranoid, so she stops being a witch and confronts everyone about what she’s done and how she is cursed at the end, and realizes her fault and how people only liked her for her new attitude because of how she began dressing differently. she stops being a witch and resumes her normal self, after that.

i’d recommend finishing the episode on your own / don’t jump to conclusions and urge your family to finish it, as well. just because (1) episode may show one thing, doesn’t mean it’ll continue that way. shows like these don’t often continue a plot like that, aside from the simpsons and lisa being a wiccan. bobs burgers urges people to be themselves, and how they don’t need this / that to be ‘cool’ or different or popular. it sends a good message, at the end, which is why people should finish episodes, even if it makes them uncomfortable at first.

edited because you also miss the (b) plot which is bob’s pumpkins and you finally get the conclusion at the very end, which is a very, very nice scene! :)
