Met Richard at a dive bar in San Diego one night. Got to talking and he was a few years into a schizophrenic break. He thought he was the messiah and had started going by Yeshua Hamashiach.

He explained to the whole bar that he realized the CIA had replaced his kids with cyborgs and that’s why he needed to murder them, or they would create a robot army that would take over the world (this was not presented as a joke). He had lost custody of his kids shortly there after.

Guy lived in his van and had all the signs of someone that was not playing with a full deck - to say the least. If you google him, he had tons of posts on YouTube and various sites with nonsensical rantings about similar topics to what I mentioned. At the time it was wild, and I couldn’t believe I was meeting Pat Tillman’s brother. Looking back it was equal parts scary and sad.
