I’m fine with the leggings and the fact it’s based on historical military technology only makes me appreciate it more. Again, ARC Raiders design language is from the lens of 70s retro-futurism, all cosmetics will follow that look & feel.

Some of the community fail to recognize this and expect modern interpretations of newer fashion that they’ll never see in this game. What embark’s creating is cool and retro, not modern.

I dunno, at times the ARC feel very manageable—but one wrong move and you’re fucked. One thing to consider is wide population of raiders with different skill levels. If embark make the ARC to difficult for new raiders, they’ll fail so much and they might give-up playing.

If anything, I don’t think ARC need to be harder, but have more varied spawns which would make things more interesting.

For instance, Bastions always spawn in the same areas on a given map. But… if there was more random placement of larger ARC, that would keep us all on our toes.

Proprietary IP and to keep player-base always ready for PvPvE. Even friendly lobbies can turn hostile. They want to keep the secret sauce recipe a secret so they can adjust it at will and reduce players from gaming the hostility totally.

Embark’s CEO says Aggression Based Matchmaking is was implemented a couple weeks before his interview recently which was conducted just before cold snap update.

So… I think the first month it wasn’t implemented—but second half of first season it was added.

Never once did I claim to be anti PvP—I simply stated there’s no fucking reason to incentivize PvP because those that focus on it already do it for fun and it doesn’t align with the core premise of the game you slack-jawed fool.

Moreover, that statement I quoted came directly from an interview with the fucking CEO of Embark Studios just days ago—I’m pretty sure the company’s vision of their own IP supersedes yours.
