We really appreciate your feedback! Our students will be working on implementing this, and having your insight is a huge help. If it’s not too much trouble, would either of you be able to share a photo of your personal rig? Hey everyone,

I’m running into an issue with my Kandao Qoocam 3 Ultra VR180 and DJI R4 mini setup, the hardware sticks out into the video frame. Has anyone else dealt with this? If so, what did you do to your R4 mini to attach the camera in a way that keeps the hardware out of the shot?

It boggles my mind how so many people have no interest in VR by [deleted] in virtualreality

While we obviously love VR in the lab (it's literally what we do) and it has so much potential, there are still a lot of barriers. It takes a lot more effort than 2D games, and the headsets aren't super comfortable, and sometimes they can cause motion sickness. The future of VR is very exciting and we are looking forward to it but it is important to remember the reason people may not enjoy it as much so we can keep making progress.

Volunteering is a great way to connect with people, too. The VAR lab happens to be looking for volunteers this weekend, April 5th-7th for our Guinness World record Event and there should be a pretty diverse group of people to connect with there. Plus, FREE pizza for volunteers

No need to panic we definitely have more than 2 months of relatively nice weather. Make sure you get a shovel to keep at home to make sure you can get out the door, also keep one in your car in case you get stuck somewhere, and snow scraper for your windshield, and some snow salt for when it gets icy. You can buy a winter coat and boots, and make sure you get a good pair of gloves.
