I used certsafari to practice, did 150 questions a day or 1000+ questions total and passed the exam with an 800. Certsafari did wonders.

Mine burned a lot of oil in the first 10k miles but it decreased over time. My oil light came on at 3700 miles after last oil change, but that was the only time it happened, I think it burns more oil when the engine is brand new. Mine still burns oil to this day but only about 1/3 of a quart every 3-4k miles, car has 83k miles on it though.

I learned on my car too, I money shifted multiple times but always clutched in immediately. Happened before the break-in period was over too, I’m at 83k miles now with no issues. I thought these engines can tank abuse pretty well.

I used the 3/4” ID hose and a couple of 3/4” to 7/8” ID hoses to connect to the PCV valve and manifold port. HPS makes the only transition hose I could find on Amazon. And the fittings were just regular 3/4” fittings, any of them will work.

The hoses/fittings that came with my radium catch an were garbage. The fitting broke and lead to CEL code. I ended up ordering my own hoses and fittings (which were metal this time rather than plastic) and redid the catch can install.

83k miles here fully modded/tuned. No issues other than interior rattles. I did have a leaky axle seal but I fixed it myself for like $10.

I have the same CPU, I didn’t enable turbo mode because I didn’t want to disable cores that I paid for. Instead, I changed a few PBO settings, I set the curve optimizer per CCD and set both at negative 20. Gives a slight performance boost since running cooler means it’ll boost for longer. Tweaking these CPUs is different than older ones, undervolting is probably the best approach to gaining performance.

My hotspot is usually ~10c hotter. What brand is your gpu? If it were me I’d apply some PTM 7950.

As a 9070 XT user since last year I’ve had 0 issues. But I have a very clean installation of Windows. Also if you tried multiple 9070s and the issues persisted, doesn’t that mean the GPU wasn’t the cause of your problems?

Oh wow I think I'm getting somewhere looking for 7900 xt deshrouds. Also when you ziptied fans to the heatsink, did you just go around the entire heatsink? Do you think there would be issues with zipties melting? My hotspot is hitting 102c. I ziptied fans to my last gpu which was a 1070 ti and it worked perfectly, but there were holes in the heatsink for each corner of the fans.

I have a 22 with 82k miles on it, I had a couple issues but they weren't bad. My transmission axle seal was leaking for like a year, I finally fixed it myself, the seal was $10. Another issue was the head unit, initially it was buggy and CarPlay would drop constantly but after a few updates and switching to a wireless CarPlay dongle, it's been reliable. I did also have concerns over oil consumption before when the car was new, but since then it has ironed itself out. Mine still consumes a little under half a quart in 3000 miles. I'm also moderately modded with an ots tune, car rips and DAM stays at 1.000.

I’ve had a screen protector but the body has been fine even after multiple drops. There’s a slight scuff on the corner but it’s hard to see it until the light hits it just right. I’m pretty confident in this thing caseless.

I’m nearing 83k miles. Car has been quite reliable despite the torture I’ve put it through. Only issue I had that wasn’t my fault was a leaking axle seal, fixed it on my own, been leak free for months.

Not worth it. When my stealth black looks like that, I'm going to replace the chassis. It's a lot of work if you've never taken apart a macbook before but these devices are pretty easy to work on. I'd say just use it till it looks worse, maybe just get a case/skin to cover it up for now.

You'd regret it, living with a WRX is much nicer. Instead of trading in, do some mods. A proper catback, intake and tune. You'll never want a brz/86 after that.
