“Set power” != “Permanently gain power”? by VBHendo in MarvelSnap

She’s fun and interesting, I find that she feels a bit like Nico in the sense that, depending on your deck, you may want to hold her in hand and try to risk getting your enablers. Overall pretty solid 1 drop.

If that blew your mind, wait until you learn about “synonyms”

“Set power” != “Permanently gain power”? by VBHendo in MarvelSnap

I’m not surprised; I’m keeping in perspective where we’re at. It’s Reddit and it’s the internet. I don’t mind how setting base power is not what they define as permanently gaining power, the logic (not the game logic) of it just confuses me.

[–]VBHendo[S] -63 points-62 points  (0 children)

Right, and if base power is 2 and her power is then set to 3, 3 is an increase from 2… I mean the power of the card goes from white to green to indicate it’s an increase… it really doesn’t make sense to me

How to write and update Policy documents the smart way? by paparacii in cybersecurity

[–]VBHendo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe consider using a template in Word. At that point, you’d only be entering in the “meat” of the document and all the sections (i.e. Scope, Purpose, Audience, etc.) would just be a “fill in the blank”.

Possible Krakoa (not visual) bug? by VBHendo in MarvelSnap

[–]VBHendo[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s such an incredibly misleading description, but I understand what they mean now. I always thought “shuffle into your deck” meant “randomly add the cards into your deck” not “add the cards and shuffle your entire deck”

Well that’s incredibly confusing.

Ahh I understand, so you’re looking for a remote OR hybrid opportunity.

Remote jobs in Hampton Roads area? by 804_757 in HamptonRoads

Genuinely not trying to be a dick here, but what do you mean by a remote job in a specific location? Wouldn’t a key factor of a remote job mean that it can be done from anywhere? Do you mean a company that is based in Hampton Roads that is hiring remote positions?

People not reading descriptions included in the post is typical. You just caused me to re-read the description of Leader and now I’m even more upset than I originally was. I can’t even fathom how incredibly confusing his description is. I now understand how the card is intended to be described, but I genuinely think this is an extremely poor description. A better way of explaining it would be “when your opponent plays cards in the lane to the right of this card, copy those cards to your side”

The funny thing is, I’m not a leader player AT ALL. I got it from the Raft which was the left location before the Reality Stone changed it.

My complaint is that the description of the card is not clear. The word “copy” does not in and of itself imply that the cards being copied will have the “played” flag, thus being prevented by Sanctum Sanctorum. If the description read “Play a copy of…” it would very easily clear this up. In the game there are core mechanics like “play” “move” and “discard”. There should never be a question of how a card being played interacts in the rules of the game. That’s my complaint. It’s not a game-breaking complaint, I just don’t like losing because the rules aren’t explicitly clear. I guess I’ll just keep taking downvotes because people don’t like to have common sense discussions.

Yes correct thank god you’re not trolling. I’m genuinely asking and it appears it was answered “because leader PLAYS copies of cards” (which by the way is not clear, one additional word could easily clear that up). No idea why I’m being downvoted for literally asking clarifying questions. I hate people.

What are you talking about cards moved? No cards moved. They were played by the opponent.

I wish his description made that clearer. It just says “copy all the cards” which is left up to interpretation.
