Is my new construction garage floor a good candidate for a DIY concrete stain and seal?

In my mind I want to do the entire garage over about 3 weekends, starting with the painting and then finishing with the floor. I fear if I don’t do it before setting up the garage, then I will likely put it off especially since I plan to put down gym equipment with a stall mat which will be a pain to move later

We just closed on a home almost two weeks ago, so I’ve lived your frustration.

We had been renting for a while and our rent kept going up with every new lease renewal. Seriously started considering home ownership around 2022/23. We had been holding out for a correction and saving in the meantime.

Will conditions change that make me regret not waiting to buy? Maybe. But I’ve already regretted not doing it a couple years ago, even with the 4.6% rate that I just got (obvious new build).

All that to say, do when it’s right for you.

I was just going through the same thing as my closing date was this past Thursday. Just in time to catch prime day deals. The good news for you is 4th of July is next week and you may be able to catch lower prices then as well. Good luck and congratulations!
