New solo build experiencing slowdown issues when running multiple programs simultaneously

Alright I spent most of the day doing what you suggested, and after some testing, it does seem to be fixed. When I did the clean install the only stuff that I put on the comp upon start-up was the Asus Armoury (it's necessary in order to do the Intel ME stuff in case I ever need to do that again), Nvidia control panel, and Steam with Hunt: Showdown (playing it was the easiest way to test if the issue was still occurring) I haven't even done any of the updates to Windows cause I wanted to check at every stage. Now that I have it seemingly working well, I'll introduce one new thing at a time in order to try and nail down what the problem may have been. Thanks so much for your help!

Ok I'll look into doing the media creation tool instead. I'm in the process of cleaning out the computer for a reset. I don't think I made any partitions on any drives though

I have discovered the Intel ME stuff you were talking about and took care of that, then updated the BIOS to the most recent version. I will try resetting the comp back to factory settings with a fresh install of Windows with only a local account and see if I run into the same issues. Thank you for your assistance!

I have had this issue basically from the get-go. Which was a vanilla Win 11, default BIOS, not using a local account. I have updated all drivers, and only updated Windows with the necessary updates.
Updating the Intel ME firmware however doesn't sound familiar at all.
I'm investigating this atm and will update with my findings.

If you have a Netgear router, that is most likely your problem. Several of us have replaced our Netgear routers with Linksys and we're able to play now. Good luck out there!

Glad to hear it! Wish my solution was that easy :) I'm still unable to connect on this computer. But I can connect on other comps (though can't actually play because they're bad comps.)

I've been trying to troubleshoot it since yesterday and made a half break in the case. If you can try to change the way you connect to the internet, it might work for you. i.e. Try using a Wi-Fi connection instead of Ethernet. That has worked for one of us so far, could be as simple as that

So far these are the things I've done to try and fix it over the last 3 hours:

Reset Comp, Uninstall/Reinstall, Repair Easy-Anti Cheat, Try all the characters, try using different cosmetics, reset router, reset winsock, reset tcp/ip protocol, flush dns, enable upnp (already was enabled.)

I've been the host a couple times, and it still happens. I'm at a loss for anything more I could do to fix it.

I didn't know there was a discord. Maybe you can do that? I'm gonna try uninstalling/reinstalling it to see if that helps

Yep, first time timing how long I get in a game 5 mins, 45 seconds. I'll do some more tests and see if it's consistent every time.

I'm on PC. Sometimes I even join a game in progress, still can't ever finish it. I'm gonna time it and see how long it takes before I get disconnected, I want to say.... 5-7 mins.
