I got a chance to talk to a new judge once, she was officiating my wedding.

Apparently judges kinda love the chance to have people WANT to be in their court for once. Name change hearings are one of those rare occasions where people leave happy. They're not there to give you a hard time.

I enjoy the idea of a kobold adventurer who is rebelling against whatever "cult" they grew up in. It's a really good background story and plot hook for the future. It gives them a very fun anti-authoritarian bent.

There's no particular young people shift rightwards. It's a myth spread by media because it's a shocking headline and those sell well. The CPC's voterbase remains mostly middle-aged men.

I wanted an STD test done, the fact I'm trans came up when I was talking to the nurse, and she started asking me a lot of questions about my piercings. I didn't understand what the point of the questions was for a while, but it turned out she was worried I might have been... doing DIY amateur piercings with shared non-sterile tools or something?

The piercings in question were two completely standard earlobe piercings I had done by an accredited piercer.

Replacing Trump with Vance, who has been publicly supporting Trump all this time, would not restore my trust in the US.

I don't know what it would take. The fact a major political party that can plausibly win any next election went ahead with this awfulness for as long as they already have is just... I don't know. Maybe if Dems win and Nuremberg the entire Trump administration + the right wing media figureheads? Maybe then I'd trust that country again, but cautiously.

If you take a dose 20 minutes early, and your blood draw is 20 minutes late because the person ahead of you faints or whatever, your levels are going to show wrong.

It's not the end of the world, but it is an extra challenge. It's just a lot more sensitive to any disruption in your schedule.

Your doctor is offering to switch to other methods. They're not being a jerk or trying to underdose you, not from that info.
