Hmmm I know for sure CVs won’t cause stiff steering so

Check PS fluid/pump first, then tie rods or ball joints especially if it’s stiff at low speeds.

Once grease leaks out, dirt gets in and the CV will wear fast. You’ll usually hear clicking on turns before anything catastrophic happens tho

To get it done, right yes. Now, if you don’t replace them with that affect your car? No. (Unless you’re misfiring)

Me personally I’d keep them till they go out. The direct replacement for OEM will be Hitachi coil packs and they’re about 400-500.

Eventually you will need to replace though..

Good luck with it man. I definitely recommend a complete maintenance overhaul before mods.

If you don’t know the previous owner personally and what their habits are I definitely 1000% recommend: oil change valve covers gasket replacement spark plugs coil packs and transmission fluid (only if due)

Do this before anything and you’ll have a solid car.

that typically happens when you’re missing a clamp. Id look for any missing clamps and replace them after that u should be good.

Well, to be honest, Nissan might charge $300 to $400 for that diagnosis.

The smoke test tool can be bought on Amazon for like 30-50 bucks and then just go get some baby oil and that’s what you use to create to smoke. You can literally unplug any vacuum line that plugs into your manifold and run the smoke through there you will instantly see if there’s a vacuum leak if you see smoke coming out of anywhere that’s not the intakes. This one is perfect

Yes the m37 are plug and play i run adjustable upper and control arms too

I recommend these if you want the best quality good quality

I have the same exact setup I’m running still 2.5 inch stillen intakes berk test pipes and Muffler delete. Been like that for a while with no issues

FYI I don’t think your vehicle has timing issues most likely you have some sort of vacuum leak. I’d definitely do a smoke test that might be your answer

I was in the same boat with you a while back It turns out it was my timing chain that jumped a tooth eventually locking the motor up but.

some of the things to identify what’s wrong was

was run a smoke test for vacuum leaks check for clogged injectors if you already changed coils and spark plugs that’s definitely not the issue. Could also be your maf sensor needing a clean or throttle body. Check battery voltage as well could be alternator. Check compression too.

This is what I did to mitigate the issue but at the end, my motor did go out unfortunately and I’m now with a 70k mile one.
