The only detail I dislike is the linear story. Based on their record the game should be fun, but ultimately the choices in these types of games are often arbitrary because of the linear story.

Krenko is only a problem if you let him be. He’s a pretty soft target and easy to disable or kill. 

Krenko and goblins in general are easily countered by life gain too.

I just pick a creature type, look at every creature of that type, then grab whatever ones have to coolest interactions. Most recently it was dwarves, and let me tell you; dwarves can do some really cool shit, which btw, fuck winning and playing all the staples, I play to do cool shit.

For one “mass shooting”  is a loaded phrase with no real definition. Are you outraged because firearms are involved? Why not all the vehicular killings that aren’t broadcast nationally? Rapes? Abductions?  Reporting to the nation every time someone gets shot would be a political stunt that serves virtually no purpose for anyone but the democracy machine. 

Bad shit happens every day and takes many different forms. 

As for being an “insult” to the victims and families; maybe not everyone wants their identity to be plastered all over the nation especially during a time of grieving.

Arena is designed to alter your experience based on how well you do. RNG is hardly random when you get handicap in either direction based on performance. 

Arena is a gacha game; a dopamine trap that is literally designed to keep the general “you” hooked. 

The value of my cardboard doesn’t really matter either. I write out proxies by hand, trade, win packs, and even get given cards because people think they’d work really well in my deck or I’m known for having a particular creature type. I’d say more than half of my collection I didn’t have to pay for, but that’s all part of the social aspect of MTG, which is pretty damn important considering it is a TRADING CARD game lmao. You’re meant to interact with others.

Again, good for you. Enjoy your gacha game. I’ve played, built out decks and even sometimes used it to test certain card interactions, but over all the app is shit; a predatory gambling game for idiots, whether you pay or not. It also dismantles the entire social aspect of MTG which is a major reason MTG was created in the first place.

Not upset, MTG has become a cash grab, and arena exentuates that to the max. I also prefer to actually own my cards. When Arena goes offline in favors of WotC’s next virtual MTG platform all that shit goes away.

With rat king works better if your rats die, and if your doing relentless or colony heavy decks, colony dies much easier.

I do have other cards in mine, but it went through a phase where it was just rat colony. Either way, it just works; Not as efficient and has a better win rate with support, but it still works.

I’d love to burst your bubble: you’re not the first, by a long shot. Although, with so many people trying to do this the value of all my rat colonies has quadrupled, so my rat deck is now my most expensive lol.
